Man does this make you hate the writer's strike. The late night shows' writers rooms would be competing to come up with the best take

Burning Man is on my bucket list.

I'm probably too old to really fit in but I'd just love to witness it first hand.

I think the mud looks more survivable than last years Fire Tornadoes. Maybe I don't need to go to Burning Man, lolz.

They had a 1/2 inch of rain and it's declared an emergency ... things must be different in Nevada.

Reminds me of a Clapton concert I went to back in the mid 70s in WPB,; rain, total mudfest, tragic jam, only briefly saw the stage.
I recall parking gfs car in the mud, spinning out and coating the next car with mud. Ironically, I knew the guys parking that car. Worst concert experience ever.

looks like a massive jam of cars bogged down in the mud on the only road out, going to take a long time to clear this out.

I mean what could be better than hanging around 75,000 hippie-wannabe tech bros for a week-long, drug- fueled orgy in the middle of a desert?

This fox reporter describes it as a fabulous time. she’s been going for 10 year. Reading a little bit about it I’d definitely want to experience it if not for my disdain for camping.

Fox News Reporter Trapped at Burning Man Sends Upbeat Video Message: ‘We’re Going to Get Through This’

It’s not so much art, cars and parties, but really connecting with each other, and that’s part of the Burner spirit too. So we’re going to get through this. It’s certainly a Burning Man to remember.

In which the poster illustrates he has no freaking idea about what he’s talking about. As usual.

    On cue...

Burning Man flood that trapped 73,000 people was 'God's judgement', senator says

Taking to Twitter, Lee wrote: "This isn't healthy. God's judgment is real."

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, of Georgia, also weighed in on the muddy festival goers during an appearance on Alex Jones‘ InfoWars show on Sunday night.

She said she wanted to talk about Burning Man, before Jones interrupted to allege that festival-goers had staged a “mock sacrifice” before the weather turned dangerous.

To which Greene replied, “God has a way of making sure everyone knows who God is.”

Interesting take. I wonder what their thoughts are on a hurricane smashing a tree into the Florida governor's mansion. Was that also God, or just random coincidence?

Whoa Sparky, grab a clue. What I described is pretty much what goes on during the “festival” and you are naive to think the festival is anything more than a big party.

But if you want to follow their 10 principles and think that is what actually occurs out in the desert, have at it. But to do so, you will have to overlook the complete mess that this year’s partygoers left behind. By looking at the pictures, the principles of “civic responsibility” and “leaving no trace” were definitely not followed. But hey, I’m sure the drugs were great and despite the rain, a great time was had by all.
