If you rewatch that play, the QB starts the slide before the "line to gain" and get hits on the ground after the "line of gain". They placed the ball where he started...play over... dead ball fall because he hit him after the play was over

looks like Duke had help in the stands. Last time Duke beat a top 10 team was in 1989 . Steve Spurrier was coach and they beat Clemson.

btw Clemson fans proceeded to boo when they put this on the video board.
