Nope, but we surely need a capable ST coach ASAP. The F up plays on ST have been going on since last year.
Ok, so if you don’t think he should have said it on air, how can you criticize him for avoiding the elephant in the room while on air?
Well, I invite you to take a quick tour of the “Too Hot” section. People over there (including myself) argue all-day about what politicians are and aren’t doing, and how the country should be run, while the majority of us have zero experience in public service
Nah, too many teams put more points than that on their cup-cake opponents... we need 105 points to change the focus.
We are a top 10 program When we are performing far below that then haters will be out in full force When we are at that level, the butt kissers will be out Sentiment will follow performance. Up to Billy to perform
So you are saying that in order to feel better about Gator football, we have to care less about it. I guess that would work, but I don’t see that as an ideal solution.
Watched Finebaum when it first started but tired of it after a few programs. I don’t value his commentary. I use the word commentary because I really don’t think he has opinions. Just talking points. I have also quit reading SDS. It seems that the few times we have a feature spot there is when we lose a player to the portal. Finebaum goes with the flow and loves to pile on. When we beat Tennessee on the 16th, I don’t expect much love from him but, I’ll never know unless I pick it up off this board.
Finebaum is just click bait! He makes a living on other peoples misery. He too continues to bash Gator fans at every chance he has to do it. To him we are the problem with Florida football and he bashes our coach all of the time. He has a stable so called sports reporters Mandel, Bratton, Griffith to do nothing but bash our coach and the team. All 3 of those those dweebs have said Napier will be fired at years end and Finebaum sits with that smirky smile and nods his head in affirmation. I don’t know why the SEC tolerates him and his ilk. He purposely wants to see our program destroyed. He claims he is a grad of Tennessee yet before Tennessee started to have some semblance of relevancy he let it be known that Bama was the top dog in the conference! He is click bait and I hope when his so called beloved alma mater comes into the SWAMP they won’t get out alive!!
"The lesson here is that there's no one single individual to blame here, other than me, OK," Napier said. "I think ultimately the buck stops here. We're going to go fix it." Just because you didn't see it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
It just adds another kernel to a forming narrative. Hopefully CBN makes some tangible signs of improvement this year to quiet them.
Too late for 2023. That should have been done in the offseason (or even season 1). The best he can do now is bring in an analyst with the goal of making that person the OC in Season 3.
The only way to shut up haters like Finebaum and Mark Long is to actually do something positive. There was little to be positive about on Thursday, especially what looks to be the worst offensive line since 1979.
While I was unhappy with week one results, what I am interested in is does the team get better as the season progresses. If it doesn’t I may join some of those calling for heads but I am hopeful that won’t be necessary.
Only time will tell -- we got worse as the season went on last year, and now we are 0 in our last 4. By the end of this month, I think we will have a better sense. Don't we have more analysts now they any other school? you think you would notice that on the field by taking advantage of the oppositions weakness, haven't seen anything special yet.
Finebaum has hated Florida for decades. Insulted us since before Spurrier came, and continued to insult us afterwards. I would never listen to that loser.
It's not, as a Purdue alumnus I promise all that caring less is infinitely worse than be negative. After losing to Fresno State the boards are ho hum, why, because no one gives a shit.
