Shimmy broke his foot. He is out for the next three months or so.

Maybe he broke the other foot after the first one, thereby warranting a second thread. But this is just speculation on my part.

Dude ... Pearl Harbor? 1941 are you kidding me? Americans died. A atomic weapon was dropped... I am sorry that you are still hung up about Pearl Harbor in 1941. Time to move into the 2000's dude. Especially when you are trying to slam fellow Gators. Hiding behind Walter Matthau pic? Walter Matthau died 23 years ago. Move on, be positive, and respect other people on the basketball site. People slamming other Gators is exactly why this basketball site is absolutely languishing.

Since you have an opinion (and you know what they say about opinions), here is mine:

Clearly these are two different threads since this thread speaks of Scymczk not Scymczyk like the other thread. Apparently "and sometimes Y" actually matters, even to guys like Francis.

I'm guessing it's because you have theplayer on ignore. Interesting thing. Can you see the link in posts #3 & 4?

The Gator player with a name like that according to the Men's basketball roster is Aleks Szymczyk. Alex Szymczk doesn't play for the Gators.

Maybe tampajack1 is talking about a player by another name on some other team. He does have wide ranging college basketball knowledge.

I have unblocked The Player and the missing thread has appeared. FYI, The Player and I get along fine on the basketball message boards. However, I am not interested in reading his posts on THFSG. There should be a way to block a person with respect to just a single message board. I am assuming there currently is no way to do that. As for leaving out the second Y in Shimmy’s name, I will continue to do so. Cliff Richards agrees with me.

wonder if there is another way to not read someones posts ...thinking outside the box, perhaps scrolling past it would do the trick.

I know you’re being sarcastic, but there is a tendency when you’re looking at a thread to read the posts on the thread.

I've tried to follow the mantra of "what happens in Too Hot stays in Too Hot." The fact you're trying to employ that is not lost on me.

I have never blocked anybody. Doesn't mean that I read every post.
