Naw. I’m just betting on you and Tommy. I do bet on golf and too much to lose fighting any more. I’m the guy that keeps the little drunk guys from fighting on the golf course.
Golf is what you have left when you want to compete but sure as hell are too old and fat for rec league basketball. What else is there?
Now that I am near sixty and tore a disc in my back in 2011 I have to take and extra club, still not bad for an old man with a high handicap
Fla State ( as I choke this out) looked pretty darn good. Their running back was superb. Lotta finesse too. Seemed LSU was a bit more lumbering. Great game though. Fla States offense was much more diverse and innovative. Tough "D" too. Also seemed like Fla State was more game-ready then LSU. Maybe they were just better. Who knows? Man, they'll be crying all the way back to Tally after they play us! That ride back on the Interstate 10 will be painful, ruining their season and all...Ha. Go Gators.
You speak as though we'd run the table with FSU's schedule. Counting Clemson and LSU, I see six losses. When we suck, it's pretty hard to sneer at the Noles now. We handily lost to a team that (a) lost 8 starters, including their star QB, and (b) played their "d" game against us, with rotating backups, leaving 14 points on the field. Fans here make sound as though Utal was at full strength and in mid-season form.
Look at it this way, this will be one less game that the SEC network puts in it's rotation. They will just find another Gators loss to fill the time.
