Both teams left plays on the field. But FSU was more complete than LSU tonight. I agree LSU looked inconsistent, but they've got players on defense that FSU largely neutralized in the second half because their offense is so multiple; Travis' legs and arm are a weapon. Coleman was a nightmare in man coverage. They'll run the ball against every other opponent they have save Clemson (the only other FSU opponent with a DL close to LSU).

I would say LSU has better overall talent and FSU has better skill players. I think that was the difference in the long game. If LSU had scored early and often and made FSU play catch-up , that would’ve been another story.
When we beat Utah last year with AR engaged we were feeling great about last season…unfortunately we had more than one tough game remaining on our schedule….must be nice to know you just won your Super Bowl on week 1 and can coast the rest of the year.

FSU clears first of two hurdles to CFP and an undefeated regular season. They also continued their mastery of LSU. We need to tell them they’re on their way to their fourth national championship and get their hopes up. The only way they might have a problem is if their quarterback gets hurt.
