Yes the timeless let’s fire the coach and get one like Nick Saban argument.

It’s gonna be a long year.

There’s not one like Saban, like it or not that man is the GOAT, but my point is we have had a couple of ADs who are too busy looking for diamonds in the rough to go after proven guys who might be open to a change. I would never have thought Brian Kelly would leave ND for LSU but kudos to the LSU AD for aiming high.

Agreed. Very unexpected but then again I thought he looked a little lost during game one last year as well but he pulled that team together and rallied.

Agreed but I do despise Kelly much more than Norvell

I believe Utah was taking it to us on the last drive and only an interception saved our ass. It must have been the humidity.

Not me, I want them to win every game, be top ranked, flying high and talking trash………and get destroyed by Florida the last game of the season. Because that way it hurts more. Spurrier beating FSU to win a Natty was the greatest football night of my life. They were dreaming of that title, they could almost TASTE it, right up until we ripped it away. SO much better than beating an awful team nobody expects to win.

LMAO, He took a paycut after six years as the head coach of Michigan. CBN just coached his 1st game of his 2nd season. Why is this a thing? I said having patience has paid off for Harbaugh and Michigan, it paid off for Dabo and Clemson, it's paying off for Norvell and the Noles so far, we all know CBN won't get 6+ years to start making headway in the conference like Harbaugh, my point was more on the fact that just because there isn't instant over night success and we had a bad 1st game of season 2 doesn't mean what CBN has been working on won't work and we still won't see results. He is rebuilding our program after 3 straight failed coaching regimes. Firing him after 3 or 4 years reminds me of that saying about insanity:doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Proven of what? What exactly does that mean? Please tell me how many titles Brian Kelly has won? How about Norvell who just beat Kelly for the 2md year in a row? There is exactly 5 "Active" head coaches whonhave won national titles. Mack Brown, Jimbo fisher, Kirby smart , Dabo Sweeney , and Nick Saban. So please elaborate what "proven" means because non of them had what ever that is before they won their 1st national title. Nick wasn't "proven" when LSU hired him, Jimbo was promoted from an OC when FSU hired him, Dabo was the WR position coach when Clemson hired him, Kirby was a DC with zero head coaching experience when UGA hired him Mack Brown was a head coach for 20 years at 3 different schools before he won a title. So again please define "proven" and then explain how that pertains to the current national winning headcoaches we currently have in CFB.

That's what happens in an extremely loud hostile environment with a very young team. Utah is a veteran team that knows how to win. If those kind of mistakes keep happening this season, then we should worry.

UF fans wouldn't let Napier slide like that.
Yeah - they were so un-ready.

There’s truth to tgat no doubt. I still want them to lose every game in every sport. It’s great to be the ones to bust their bubble though.
