LSU was going to be my 5-pointer right up until I picked. I remember last year they were favored by about the same amount and I couldn't believe it. I told everyone that LSU was my stone-cold lock of the century... and looked what happened. Screw FSU!

That was LSU’s first game under Kelly and they looked like it. LSU lost and it pretty much will embarrass the sec if they lose this one. Fsu has to be a much better team this year if they are going to win.

If 91 in your name means 1991, then that would explain you putting FSU in front of UGA on the hate meter. Gators from the 80s and before tend to put UGA first.

That would be correct sir. Other than lately I only remember owning the pups. Growing up in the panhandle West of Tally the hate was real. My Uncle Ray Lawrence played for the Gators so we are a Gator family.

Whoo hoo, I'm one of 3 people to pick Fresno state... and I got that one right so far. Looks like I'm the only one to pick northwestwern, let's see if they can rise to the occasion after the whole coach debacle.

Yes, 24 people had Purdue, so good call on Fresno! I had Purdue, but was fortunate that I had them as my 1-pointer.

So far, everyone has some points, so no one is getting shut out this week. There are a few people that are still in play for 15 point weeks, yourself included!

Yeah Phat growing from the time I was a jr in high school for the next 20 years we went 18-3 against them. Why would I hate a reliable punching bag? Tough as of late tho. But that’s why they’re #2. East of Tally I didn’t even know a Ga fan growing up.

I understand. But those of us who are older lived with things like fourth and dumb against Georgia.

The punching bag years were cathartic for us older gator fans. The year Spurrier hung 50 points on UGA on their home field, I was in Colorado visiting my sister and brother-in-law.

They did not have a television, so my brother-in-law took me to a friend’s house so I could watch the game. Those guys thought the game was very boring with Florida scoring and scoring and scoring, but I made them keep the game on because I was eating it up.
