Even that would be concerning. Ole miss put 70. OK put up 80. There was another 70 point game this weekend can't remember.
LSU needs to cut the crap on D with the guessing. The front 4 is doing work and the back end is getting worked.
Perhaps. It always seems as though he had some kind of minor injury that was put out there as an excuse to keep him under wraps.
It's more than that though. Travis is so dangerous with his legs it slows down pass rushes, which pressures the secondary that much more. FSU's d-line is stuffing LSU's run and making Daniels do everything, that eventually takes its toll. LSU doesn't seem to have answers this half.
I am not a huge AR fan (inaccuracy, poor reads, etc) but I find this take to be pure unsupported speculation. The issue last year could be AR or it could be BN not getting the most from him. I could suggest that BN does not seem like a particularly good qb coach based on AR last year. That is just the inverse of your argument, but we simply do not have enough data to come to either conclusion. (Note that pro teams seem to think highly of AR….). Anyway, last year condones nor condemns either AR or BN.
Overall this is a very fun game to watch. Both teams making big plays and overall playing well with a few first game miscues mixed in but both teams look like they will get that stuff cleaned up. I’m not really looking forward to the games against either one.
FSU’s D line 4/5 transfers Travis - transfer Wilson- Transfer Coleman- transfer Best DB- Transfer Benson-Transfer O line - couple transfers Best lb - transfer
Just a quick drop-in to say. Both of these teams look as though they could easily administer a thorough a** whipping on our boys
I’d put Marshall up against anybody. Dude will be a first round pick. I think Ja’Keem or Dijon or Kimber or Moore can all handle him. Dude is just big. He just need to get hit one time and he’d be checked out of the game. That’s my take based on seeing him drop balls over the middle.
Marshall got his ass busted by Johnny Wilson last year so I’ll disagree on that one. Also I haven’t seen him drop passes this game (have seen Johnny drop a couple though) so I wouldn’t count on that either. Our goal in winning that game is controlling the ball with our backs and playaction. Do that and I think we can win. I do NOT think the FSU defense is very strong.
Good thing we don’t have to play them today. Both teams have no depth. By the time they get to us, they won’t be as healthy as they are today…especially LSU.
