Does anyone else feel like they are in a television alternate universe?

    It’s the first weekend of college football and I have been watching CBS college football roundup for a couple hours to get rolling highlights and not watching actual games. It’s now 8pm and prime time CFB, and I am watching cedric the entertainer explaining why he isn’t the gardener. Wtf is happening? If espn/spectrum don’t figure it out , the SEC / NCAA needs to step in and make a decision. This is insane, I imagine there is a signed contract for exclusivity, but I have to imagine there would be a clause for overriding holding the ultimate customer hostage like this, and allow other to broadcast their games. Unless they don’t want to, but this is strange and even stranger that there isn’t any information out there for us about what’s going on.

    ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, all have game on right now. That's still some football.

    They even have that little 4 pack bundle, where you can have 4 games at once. Must be a new feature this year? I like it

    Lol, the ncaa/sec isn’t going to do anything about it. They have no say so in the matter.

    If your service provider isn’t providing adequate service, change providers.

    So, the answer is to stack on another monthly streaming bill? To piece together what we were already supposed to have in one service. I get that the world is evolving to this, and it is a corporate money grab disguised as free choice. I really do see this as the death knell for cable tv as we know it. This could be the catalyst that causes enough people to leave to shut down spectrums cable business model. I do hope that Disney pays a price for this, though. Not sure how , but I do hope there is some pain felt for the ransom grab.

    Why would you be stacking on? You Tube replaces spectrum completely. I use Hulu Live for the same reason. Get all the channels, but none of Spectrums drama. Did it years ago.

    Started a YouTube TV trial when the Spectrum fiasco happened Thursday. Like others have said, the 4 game option is nice but you can also do 3 and 2. Takes some getting used to but I’m really liking it. Will be calling Spectrum this week to cancel the cable!!!
