I thought you can only win if you inherited a loaded roster, according to some genius on this board. Prime must inherited a roster way more loaded than 2022 Gators
Just hearing “Coach Prime” triggers me. He was and is my all time most hated football player in college and pros. Got to give him credit though. 75 new players and they look pretty good. Why can’t we have nice things?
At what point do people realize the obvious move for Florida Football is to fire Napier immediately after the season and hire Prime. I would like to hear an argument against it We would dominate RECRUITING and play with passion and energy. You want Florida back I would say the move would make us immediate contenders again.
Prime proving you don’t need to “be patient”. You don’t need 3-4 years for a rebuild or do it the blue collar-old-school Pat Dye way. He’s taken a 1 win team and is beating a team that went to NC game. Oh… and btw/ he’s doing it with STYLE. 4 WRs over 100 yards. Travis hunter playing both ways. Big play after big play. What 18 year old WOULD NOT wanna go play in THAT offense and win right now? lol. this rebuild we are in is made all the more painful because our rivals - LSU, FSU, Georgia and Tennessee are winning with style … but now our ex- rivals are doing it too. But nahhh… let’s be patient lol
Agreed. Sometimes you have to fake it to make it, too. Just start acting like you are the best and it starts to seem real.
My BIL, a CU fan, said Prime doesn’t like the TCU OC because of the way he treated his son when FSU was recruiting him.
Great game. Loved the execution. Deon, schmeon, who cares? He kicked ass and won against a great team. That's how you open a season. I'm impressed. Go Gators.
If you are a household name, you do not need 3-4 years, but most others will. He is famous in football and it translates to people wanting to play for him.
