What will it take to convince BN to hire a competent OC and ST coach?

 

Geez, same bad clock management. Had 22 seconds to get a play off before the quarter ended. He needs an OC so he focus on coaching the team. He can’t do it all.

 

I usually put a Petty vid here, but thats a disgrace to Tom. So maybe next week.

 

Question: who thought coming into this game that our running game would be non-existant and that we'd have to rely on Mertz to move the ball?

 

Obviously can’t recruit OL or fill with serviceable portal players

 

I bet Brock Bowers could spot Odom 40 yards and could still win a 100 yard dash

 

This is just wrong. Nobody needs 5 years to show improvement. I'm definitely not calling for him to be fired but I am calling for him to begin performing at full performance level very soon. I believe he's the 11th highest paid coach in NCAAF and to be perfectly honest I have no idea why.

I don't expect the guy to win the title this year or even get to the playoffs. I do expect to see improvement. This team looks bad. I guess optimistically that gives him a lot of opportunity to earn that $7M.

Players only have 5 years of eligibility, should coaches not expect them to improve in any way their enter NCAAF career?

Anyways I'm starting to get negative so I'm off. It's been fun guys, hopefully things improve quickly but it's looking like another great year for my lawn.

You have to make IN GAME ADJUSTMENTS if you crap ain't flying... And that means changing players IN GAME...

SOS was a master of replacing players that are having a bad day. Mertz in having a bad day... even though it may be not all his fault. Put a new QB in the game.

 

Billy seems like the perfect CEO type coach, bit he will fail if he tries to be CEO and deliver the pizzas and sweep the floors.

 

That’s one more highlight than we have.

 

Wow to this display. Gonna be a long year. It’s scary when you hear how great everyone is during practice and realize how bad they are. They looked great because everyone is so bad?
