We were dumb to run Mullen off. We've treated Meyer like caca. We intensely want to fire coaches before they've even completed their 2nd season. Even if we're wrong, you gotta give Napier 5 years to prove to us he can't do the job. He's young and the recruiting seems to be headed in the right direction.

 

Stupid penalties, horrific ST play, questionable playcalling. All we need is an atrocious defense and this is just game 14 of the 2022 season.

I'll get called nice names for this, but I think Napier is a fine play caller. The issue tonight has been execution. Too many crippling penalties, missed blocks, etc. Our o-line is clearly not the same.

But when the drives are clicking, they are moving with a rhythm. The problem is, the team itself is not moving in rhythm. That does fall on him, unfortunately.

I will say the 4th down call was not a good one. But it would've been if it had worked.

Billy is more like Punt on 3rd Down Bob Woodruff (our 1950s coach) than Dickey or Zook or Mcshark or anybody. Even Butch Jones looked better.

Totally agree. It’s bad enough to lose games you should win. Having Sportscenter moments where your coach is throwing juvenile tantrums on the sidelines is so much worse.

 

A bunch of people were mad at me for calling it that we would get run out of the gym.... welp...

We need so many adjustments and we're lacking fundamentals, how is that not coaching? We're out talented against a PAC-12 team on top of that.
