At least he didn't change his gender. I don't really have anything against him but after the Travis Hunter affair he's been persona non grata to many. He goes out of his way to poke his thumb in FSU's face. Whatever. I'm not necessarily rooting for him to fail but if anyone is going to get the last laugh here I don't think it's Prime but we'll see.
Stafford could definitely sling it. He's a HOFer. I mentioned both those guys. Flacco was really good. Prolly not a HOFer. Foles was a bit of a fluke. Fluke might not be the right word, but he played like an elite QB in that run. His performance in that playoff run was an outlier to the vast majority of his career save that one season in Philly with Chip Kelly.
No, I didn’t. I did not assess that they were or weren’t (real) fans if xyz position is taken. That was all you, homie.
No, you brought up people who are Noles and self professed Bucs fans who want him to fail because he went to UF as if that has anything to do with anything anyway. I was responding to that by saying that they aren't really Bucs fans if they feel that way.
Is this you? Only you could bring FSU fans into a thread about a former UF QB and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We should start sending you rent checks.
He didn't question whether the FSU folks were Bucs fans. From my experience, FSU fans hate FL. It's the superior institution with a superior Football, basketball, and overall athletics history. During my 10 years with Bucs season tix, the Nole fans were quite outspoken when it came to Gator Bucs & Gator Noles.
I said they are biased, I didn’t say they weren’t real Bucs or FSU fans. Also don’t talk about charging rent… guy who is an FSU fan who posts in a Gator forum.
I can't speak for people I don't know but I have more than a few Seminole friends that openly root against NFL gators including a couple that are bucs fans. To be fair, the ones that root against Trask think he sucks but their fsu Fandom likely plays a role in that
Crazy thing is I'm not as much of an FSU hater as most here, and I've said it before. I only applied to two schools... UF and FSU, and my older sibling was already at FSU. I was set on going to FSU, but too the UF campus visit and I was hooked. Changed my mind on the spot. But though college I was back and forth visiting friends from FSU and vice-versa. I didn't hate them then and don't hate them now. I dislike their sports teams, but it's not deep rooted hate.
Stick around. We may give ya a hard time, but some of us appreciate having rival fans on board . . . as long as y'all are respectful.
Again, I would argue if you're rooting against a particular player on a team you purport to be a fan of you're not really a fan of that team. Not sure how we lost our way here. My other points were that the Bucs should tank and draft Williams or Maye. My preference is prolly Maye. If the corches thought Trask was better than Mayfield they'd play him. That said this staff is the Willie Taggart Show in the NFL so I'm pretty confident they'll be terrible and Trask will prolly get a second contract as a back up or an opportunity to compete in a much better situation.
We got here because you repeatedly said that I am the one who said the above, which I didn't. You said it.
You said there were Bucs fans rooting against Trask. I'd say by nature those aren't actual Bucs fans despite what you may think and not documenting your assertion. That said, it looks like you're having a rough night so I'll leave you alone.
That's cool that you think that, just don't say that I said it. As far as rough night, it's just sports. My night is fine.
Once Baker gets comfortable, he will quickly revert back to being the Dick that he is. Bank on it. They need to give Trask 1/2 the season to evaluate. If he does well(like he did in pre-season) then there are plenty of other areas in need they they can use their draft picks on. Drafting another QB with a first round pick will just be another re-start.
