    Hearing Kuithe is likely out.
Barnes will start at Qb but I bet we see packages with the other guy (Johnson maybe?)
He is supposed to be fast.. so expect wildcat and designed Qb runs

Pete Thamel is reporting this as well. I will believe it when I see Rising on the sidelines in street clothes.

I think this team will have a different mindset. This is a business trip. Fully expect the guys to go out tomorrow night and handle their business and come home with a W!

I've listened to a few of her videos now and she has gotten a lot better, IMO.

If I was an Utah fan, I’d be concerned about when Rising is going to come back, not just tomorrow night.

Forget saying that you want to play them at full strength.

In a way it kind of puts us in a no win dilemma. We win and its because their key guys were missing. We lose and it's they can't even beat a team that has key players missing.
Personally, I think we would win even if Cam was playing and haters going to hate.
I think our D will force turnovers and create short fields due to rushing there qb. Stopping the run and make them one dimensional.

First four games are OOC, so after that seems likely.

Agreed. The line moved down to Utah by 4.5, but it still favors Utah. We have a chance obviously, but it’s going to take a great game.

I can't remember a time when a star player was out for the other team, and their back-up didn't torch us ...

I was about to say the same dang thing. We've had a history of making backups look like Heisman contenders for the last decade. Let's hope those days are behind us.

It is good new for us, though. Even an immobile Rising is prob better than a mobile backup.

Possibly, but at this point, "earn national respect" isn't really an immediate goal, amirite?

If we win and along the way, we look good on offense...then great, had nothing to do with Rising/Kuethe out.

If we win and we actually have a DL that stuffs the run game, then it matters some that their passing took a hit. BUT...it will still harbinger well. Utah is set to have a serious rushing offense this year. I'd be thrilled if we could slow them down, no matter the QB.

Enough with the negative waves. It's football. No lame excuses. Every team uses this same tired narrative about backup QBs. Gators have no special failing here.

We lose when we don't play well enough to score more than the other team.
