Maybe he's confusing Hillary with Bill who has been disbarred (not sure whether he ever bothered to apply for restatement). As far as Obama is concerned apparently his current status with the Illinois Bar is "retired". He was never disciplined.

Everyone knows that a “voluntary forfeiture” is really just to avoid disbarment. I’d be shocked if Guliani didn’t do the same.

 

Where are you getting that from? The link says Obama is listed as "retired" and Michelle as "inactive" ... both are options that I could set my state license to at any time I wanted to ... and that wouldn't preclude me from being disciplined by the board. If they had reason, they'd still come after me to prevent me from reactivating my license, and if they won or if I failed to respond, they'd list my license as "revoked". That's just how it works.

 

Turns out you know as much about he law as you do being a doctor.
