I have not hoisted anything. My position has been consistent.

    And defined by…

    “Go ask your doctor”

Go ask your doctor why you are one of the very few still taking the shot. Or go ask your doctor why so few are taking the shot if you finally realized it is unnecessary.

Don’t listen to me. Listen to your doctor!

Oh you are are frowning on it lol. Nice attempt to back peddle though. Your bias against others sadly has more weight than looking at merit. That is just reality. That is why you demeaned a degree. Had nothing to to do with my abilities. Just your perceived bias.

Lol...that is an outright lie. You have consistently made claims that my doctor would laugh in your face about, as he is an active researcher that actually understands scientific research as it relates to medicine, two topics in which you do not have enough background to even know what you don't know. And your position is...don't take vaccines. If your doctor suggests not taking it, listen to your doctor. If your doctor suggests taking it, they are a bad doctor.

People often don't engage in pro-health behaviors. Have you ever asked your doctor why so many people smoke cigarettes, do fentanyl, or don't eat right, despite reams of studies on each topic?

I don't, despite your attempts to get everybody to listen to you for the 5,000th time.

I do. My doctor doesn't agree with you. He's an actual medical doctor.

Maybe so, but Ima gonna guess that it's not to make medical decisions or set public health policy.

    LOL!

I don’t doubt there is a chance your doctor might be one of the few who still thinks these shots are worth taking. That is fine. I would never say they should be silenced. That is what happened to the doctors who did question things early on. The ones that turned out to be far more right than wrong.

You do what you need to do. I have held that position from the beginning. Just don’t coerce people to be like you.

The data and numbers speaks for itself.

Oh…and just because your doctor says something does not mean you always need to listen to them. In September 2021 mine said he had to recommend I take the shot (my read was it was a CYA issue at the point considering he said he had no confidence in Pfizer but only moderna at that point and time along with other things in the discussion I had to start). I did not listen. Confident we both agree today that was the correct decision (especially after chatting with his wife at my kids appointment recently on the issue as it came up as she was due for other shots). If I had asked him in May 2021 he would have said take the shot but he changed as the data dictated for him. And he is going to look at things differently than each of his patients.

What really stinks…is doctors know the cdc has become a complete joke and that the guidance is garbage now. Junk studies being posted with a narrative in mind. The medical journals are compromised. It is going to take a long time to fix the mess created.

When I say listen to your doctor. I say do exactly as you did. Take that information and add it to what you already have. If it leads you to be part of the 17%…great. If not…great.

But I will say now with confidence. You don’t need to take the shot and cause unnecessary inflammation. And it is fine if you and your doctor disagree. I just really hope you are not putting these things in your kids and/or grandkids. But to each their own.

Certainly not to make medical decisions. Public policy is a different. It absolutely could be applied in certain ways. And you will absolutely be quite familiar with the field if you are working within it. And while I don’t work in the field of public health policy. It is not some super complicated field. And we screwed it up beyond recognition. Granted it was really a minority that did it. I wish I believed it was ignorance. But some of the decisions really make that hard to believe.

But critical thinking alone would have been enough to know things like shutting kids out of school was STUPID. And we had the last 2 months of Spring 2020 to show people. And that does not even take a degree in any field to know. But we peddled enough fear to really screw over a lot of kids in this country. Thank goodness we live in Florida!!!

I wonder how often people actually brush their teeth. If it isn't twice daily, can we take that as proof that dentists aren't recommending that people brush their teeth twice a day?

Florida was not superior in getting through the pandemic. Not by a long shot.

The ignorance is actually on those who suddenly believe they know policy and science better than the experts. It's an arrogance too--some might even call it dunning-kruger

Lol! Your position is to listen to your doctor, if your doctor agrees with you. If they don't, you don't need to listen to your doctor. Perfect display of the narcissism it takes to declare yourself having a medical background based on an engineering degree. Thanks for that. BTW, I already showed you evidence that over 80% of doctors recommend vaccination. You just don't like that fact, so it doesn't exist because the world revolves around you and your desires. Good luck trying to convince everybody to not take the vaccine for the 5,000th time.

Florida was by far the superior in navigating Covid of the big states (Texas in the discussion). It’s not arrogance either. It is confidence in knowing reality.

Thank goodness we live in Florida.

    LOL!!!

I am just stating my opinion. There are not many people still caught up by the propaganda to help at this point. Most had moved on a long time ago. Doctors included. One day you will get away from the TV ads and idiots at the cdc and see reality. It takes some longer than others.

Okay, so your opinion is that people should listen to their doctors, unless their doctor disagrees with you, then they can not listen to their doctors?

Good grief man. You are a piece of work. Listen to those you trust. It will include your family. Your doctor. Your friends. Maybe even someone you have a bias against in a message board. They are not all going to have the same exact thoughts. From there make the best decision for you based on all the information you have including the data and your senses.

Hard to believe you need that explanation. It is not complicated. Your answer may agree with all/most/some/less/none.

But yes. Listen to your doctor.

Numbers don't show that. This is you liking the decisions, not that they were in any way objectively superior.

So why is it that you have made literally thousands of posts here trying to convince people of what to do? Pretty sure nobody on here lists you in the category of their family or their doctor in terms of trust. Heck, you regularly mock people and put them down for making decisions that you don't like. You've done it in this very thread.

And I did listen to my doctor, who knows far more about medicine than an engineer. Despite you trying to gain some equivalence to him in terms of knowledge (or trying to pretend that his advice isn't the advice that the field widely provides).

They absolutely show it. When you look at demographics and then the whole picture. It is not close. There is a reason DeSantis won in an epic way and we saw people move here at rates never seen.

Cool. Glad you seem so obsessed with my position. The numbers speak. You will get there eventually.

Can you share the numbers that show it?

Last time you tried the claims got thoroughly debunked, but maybe this time it will be different?
