I've read so many times in this forum that the game has passed Mary and Coach Dave by. To the contrary, top 10 suggests that they are on top of the game, especially in a sport that has much more parity than it has ever had in the past and has changed so much with the influx of big $$$. Go Gators!
I clicked on Watch on the Gator VB schedule and it has taken me to a Pac12 site that is counting down to match time. Can't promise, but encouraging.
They cut you off after 5 minutes. Go to floridagators.com and click on schedule, VB, and live stats. Florida won the first set 25-19
FWIW -- after I got cut off, I downloaded the PAC-10 app. Signed in with my cable provider. That's all it took. Watched on the iPad. Then got the bright idea of casting to my main TV. Awesome big screen! And at this point in the match...OMG
Good here in Tampa...some rain...it's way west of us..headed towards big bend and Tallahassee...our weather man says since it's 100 miles off shore from us hardly any winds
Scattered showers, a little thunder. Apparently, heading north of town. The morning will tell the story.
Awesome straight-sets win over #2 Stanford, whom the announcers were saying is loaded this year, with all their best players back. Gators go to 3-0, with two of those wins over ranked opponents. I got to watch it on the PAC-12 network. Kennedy Martin is a difference maker, and just a freshman. Wow.
Minnesota lost 3-1 at home to Texas. The shorthorns were #1 before dropping a match against Long Beach State in a match in which their best player didn't play. The few minutes I watched; Minnesota looked like a good team. The Gophers will be a hard out.
