Remember when Gilbert committed to UF as a transfer from LSU? That was a fun five minutes or so.

 

Once again...
Gilbert has got some real issues.
For decades, all of us have seen athletes st Florida and other schools go off the rails.
But Gilbert is ripping the rails up!

He might be third down the depth chart but I expect he gets snaps and frequently if he has success.

Cheer team drove to Atlanta today to catch their flight to Utah instead of their previous plan of leaving Gville at 3am Wednesday to drive to Orlando then Utah.

 

Without the talented depth that we need (we have great depth now) we could only run the aggressive defensive schemes off and on in short periods in game becasue we have no real depth to plug in fresh bodies that these more aggressive schemes (on defense) needed to keep good pressure on other teams. I think we can run the much more aggressive schemes with the depth was have for 2023.

I hope you're right but I'd say we're just starting to get some depth and not sure how it will show up yet. "Great" depth is intense competition at every position and the bench threat is real.

That was interesting. Full pads and looks a little greasy/sweaty. Hope he does play. No excuses win or lose.

 

I hate to see a kid being so self destructive. It blows my mind that he put himself in that situation.

 

Looks like a guy that is going to play to me.

 

Even if he does, he hasn't practice against a live defense, hasn't scrimmage, hasn't had contact, hasn't had to cut on the injured knee, I'd be surprised if his 1st live action of any type was against our defense but if it is it may turn out worse then if he doesn't play.
