Are you talking about actual kids? They definitely shouldn’t be doing it and no one is arguing that. For adults, my understanding is that Black and White folks use it at about the same rates but Black folks are significantly more likely to be arrested. I guarantee you that you know many people who do it and you just don’t know.

Great. Let's legalize it then. Win-win. More freedom and less paying to jail people for a victimless crime.

You are too educated to think this is a victimless crime. Stoned mothers and stone drives cause trouble for everyone. I know people addicted to being high.

Driving under the influence is still a crime regardless of legalization. Possession of marijuana is a victimless crime.

Getting high is as victimless as getting drunk, its still a crime to drive or do things that hurt other people under the influence, legalization doesn't change that. Criminalizing hasnt prevented these things from happening either.

I don't know anything about Tilray, but I don't think any of the stock are doing well. All the ETFs have massive losses over the last couple years, and IIRC, these ETFs don't hold American pot stocks due to the legal uncertainty, so I guess it's a global decline.

Sort of looks tempting to buy here, but there is zero good news in sector, and far as I can tell.

It’s a crime in name only. Totally stupid.

There was a point in time about 5 or 6 months ago that were a good time to get in... SNDL is making some money because they are a somewhat diversified business... wholesale... retail... alcohol and even financing other weed companies.

But of you got in 2 or 3 years ago you are most certainly down...

I don’t think pot is harmless and could be significantly detrimental to some - but at this point do we really need to burden the criminal Justice system with pot possession crimes?

I’d bet some of the same people against pot legalization are the same ones raging against the 2 beer a week recommendation.

I know a lot of people, including myself, addicted to caffeine. We should make that illegal too. Or we can stop policing personal choices when they aren't harming others. Instead of throwing these people in jail, let's save our money and resources and use it to offer treatment and addiction resources. Win-win. The current model isn't helping anybody.

Funny how the anti-Marijuana contingent here refuse to answer any questions regarding alcohol. Haven't seen the few opponents address any of the questions or support their argument so far. Not one.

When I drug screen employees, they may test hot but as long as they have a prescription, it's a negative result and I don't know any differently. However, if they test hot on a post-accident screen, card or no card, they will be denied WC, according to my carrier, because it's still Federally Illegal.
