This may be the death of Bud Light… Merged with Alcohol Czar

The term “czar” has been used for years in a fairly neutral sense: Energy Czar, Drug Czar, Alcohol Czar. The word “czar” comes from the Russian “tsar.” Since Russia is now on the bad guy list and using a Russian word might be offensive to people, perhaps we should switch to “Kaiser.”

 

For starters, we dont. I think he is an advisor, no?

And alcohol is a substance that needs research and strategic thought. It kills more people than you realize I guess.

And I am a beer nerd, so I dont come about this as someone who thinks alcohol is some evil villain.

Off topic, but I went to the store today and saw the non alcoholic corona section and picked up a six pack for my husband. Got home and he told me it was corona premier. It was in the wrong place! I'm drinking corona premier tonight! Carry on.

Problem is there are people in my life that, unironically, will bring up to me how Joe Biden wants the govt to limit you to two beers a week. And I won't feel life telling them they're dolts, cause it's useless.

 

And that Biden just appointed our first ever alcohol czar just to control our lives.

 

Don't know if they're evil but beer does taste better in glass.
