What a dumb click bait prediction. CBN in no way is getting fired this season or next for a losing season given all the noise that has been generated that 2025 is make it or break it for him. While winning is very important to fan base, the current culture is NOT the same Meyer faced when he started. The fan base wants consistent performance and improvement. CBN tore things down and building from scratch.

With us trying to establish a running game with an almost new offensive line, what could go south. Not keeping the chains moving, not scoring till the other team scores, thus getting behind early, making the passing game very important. Mertz I hope you are ready for only throwing on third down and all the pressure is on you on one play to keep the chains moving or scoring, that is a tough thing to overcome being new to this team. Every time we are three and out, is another opportunity wasted. I have a weird feeling that we are going to struggle being consistent. Trying to run on teams as tough as you are is not consistency. Mix it up to keep the defense is off balance. Let’s not wait till we are behind.

While that may be correct, Vegas is not in the business of releasing lines that are too far off of their predictions. Doing so leaves them vulnerable. So 5.5 is right where they expect Fla to be. If we win 5-6 games this year I for one will be extremely dissatisfied with the direction of our program. I hope that Vegas is way off on this one
Well, we all hope that. I bleed orange and blue. If I didn’t, and even if I didn’t care about the Gators one way or the other, I would probably say that the OP is a reasonable prediction for this season if all you have to go on is last year’s performance and this year’s recruiting class. It is also reasonable to assume that QB play will go down this year. What no one knows yet is how much actual improvement has occurred. Win or lose, we know a lot more by Friday morning. If we see better defense and better in-game coaching decisions, including and especially clock management, then I think we might be on a better track even with a loss. If we see more of the Keystone Cops that we saw last season, then this prediction might end up being correct even if somehow Utah gives away the game again. I hope it’s the former scenario. We will see.
Prognosticators got to prognosticate. He may be wrong he may be right. Print it out and show the team each day. Hopefully we coach up the boys well this year and oline stays healthy and gells and we go to a peach of a bowl.
Schlabach is ranking us right about where the media put us after SEC Media Days. There isn't some vast conspiracy against UF. We've been pretty bad the last two years and have what a neutral person would call an unproven QB situation. The program put itself in this hole. We've earned a loss of respect. We'll have to earn it back. It's natural.
They don’t have to prognosticate. They could get a real job and provide some sort of useful service to society. There is a nationwide shortage of sandwich artists, you know.
