My grandparents were both from Spain and they would kiss their sons on the lips - as my Dad did with me. It wasn't until I was in high school and an Anglo friend of mine asked me about it. And, my Dad kissed my sisters the same way. Never thought it was weird; but, this is a different dynamic. She's a player. He is management. Woman. Male. Upset. What's the big deal? Whether a power move or simply overexuberance the dude screwed up. I didn't read his apology; but, apparently the woman is having none of it. The sad part is it now overshadows Spain's triumph in the World Cup. It's no longer "Spain wins!" Now, it's "Machismo reigns!"
