Wonder if Utah will run a lot of no huddle to multiple the altitude problem ?

 

Statistically speaking how do you even come up with such a number? What factors prevent it from being 2% or 4%?

Prediction is insane, but if you’re gonna say we have very little chance at least give something more realistic like a 10% or 20%.

 

"Say something outrageous to get attention" has become the coin of the realm. As a society, we need to bring back ridicule. And: police your own side of the fence more stringently than the opposition. Being a jackass needs to lead to consequences, not airtime and fundraising.

Why anyone still tunes in to watch these shows is beyond me. I don’t watch anything on any of the sports platforms other than sports. The talk shows are for the birds.

 

In my defense, it was the halftime report of the Vandy/Hawaii game when Harper was asked about the game....

 

To be fair Im not sure it is all on the Harpers' of the world. Often, it is a producer telling them to say something controversial to get ratings.

So when is the team flying out?

Hopefully tonight or first thing in the morning. Travel will be shut down by Late Tuesday/early Wednesday because of the storm. Campus might be shutdown tonight.

 

Thought I read they were planning to fly out Wednesday. They better up that to Tuesday.

 

I’d guess that’s a Chinese fire drill happening as we speak. Flights, accommodation, meals, what a cluster. I don’t want that job.

if this forecast is correct most people in Gainesville won't have power and won't even be able to watch the game. A major hurricane with 125 mph winds making landfall only 58 miles from Gainesville will cause major damage and power outages.

 

1. The team is leaving Tuesday, not Wednesday.

2. I'm ready for the depth chart. They usually put it with the roster in the pregame notes, not there yet.

3. Most importantly, uniforms? Orange helmets with white jerseys are a given, but UF could opt for blue, orange, or white pants. I'd like to see the blue pants to show off our Gator blue against the red of Utah. A white jersey with blue shorts will be my game gear of choice.

 

Even if you have a whole house generator, it won't matter as the internet will likely be knocked offline to boot. For those who can, leave tomorrow and head south or come up to Pensacola for a couple of days before the Labor Day weekend tourists show up. Due to coastal flooding and storm surge, Pensacola is your best bet.
