Looks like the Fake Elector Scheme in Arizona may be the next shoe to drop...

Rudy seems to be at the center of Arizona's own investigation into their fake elector scheme. Another guy who needs prison times to think about his anti-American and anti-democratic way of life. Hopefully they can find the path back to Trump, since there no doubt left that he was part of the conspiracy to install these fake electorally college members all across the country in the states he legitimately lost.

"Investigators assigned to the case by Arizona's Democratic attorney general Kris Mayes have recently asked potential witnesses and other individuals specific questions not only about Giuliani's behind-the-scenes conduct, but that of other key Trump lieutenants at the time, as well," Rawnsley and Suebsaeng explain. "Prosecutors appear particularly interested in a number of notable meetings and phone calls, including a late November 2020 meeting with members of Arizona's state legislature convened by the Trump legal team, which aired bogus claims of voter fraud and lobbied lawmakers to 'take over' the state's selection of electors, the sources say."

President Joe Biden's victory in Arizona was among the bombshells of the 2020 election. Once deeply Republican, Arizona has evolved into a swing state. Democrats are winning more statewide races in Arizona, where, according to the Rolling Stone reporters, Giuliani was a "ringleader" for Trump.

What an incredible job the House 1-6 Committee did in establishing a forum for witnesses— mainly GOP— to openly tell the truth about this blatant criminal fraud. Culminating in the attempt to deliver these fake delegates to Vice President Pence in 1-6. Imagine if he had announced he has competing shards of delegates from the states and was not going to allow the states to certify the real slates and was sending this back to the legislatures. The House might have contend the votes anyway. Otherwise, Congress would have missed the 1-6 deadline and given Trump an argument to remain in office. This would have been fast tracked through the federal courts to decide if the legit votes had to be counted. And maybe legislatures would have taken this up and responded in the same proportions the House majority did on 1-6 to reject votes. A strong majority of the House GOP voted to reject the legit votes— they were “in on it.” All based on false and fraudulent slates and the lie of election fraud. That was the goal.

Mike Pence saved our Democratic Republic (so far).

No, he did the bare minimum. But at least he did that.

He had to have his lawyers and Dan Quayle help him do the right thing. What courage! In fact, I have respect for his ability to go along with Trump the whole time and be squeaky clean. That is truly incredible.

Dan Quayle’s ability to convince Pence on a single call was the moral compass of our Nation.

One last dig (not mine)… his boss calls him a “human conveyer belt”. That is some character assassination or a very apt description.

Without Pence, God only knows how much worse off this country would be currently. Diminishing his actions, regardless of how he arrived at that decision, seems petty, to the point of childish.

You have to admit the bar is pretty low. We have to celebrate how he decided not to overthrow the government.

Absolutely. And let’s be real: If someone else would have been the actionable party, I have little doubt Pence would have stood by, let it go down, and then offered up his own plausible deniability as cover.
But, that’s not the way it happened.

    Not true.
There was legitimate personal risk of injury to Pence. He distrusted his own Secret Service detail, knowing they could potentially be in on the scheme, and refused to be removed from the complex. This while KNOWING he was ACTIVELY being HUNTED by a mob.
Sorry, that’s not anything close to “bare minimum”.

The United States of America IS A Constitutional Republic... not a democratic republic. The Congo is a democratic republic.

    Thx.
Hopefully, you can get past the semantic error, and digest the larger point.

    Lol... just having some fun.

But, remind me which law/s, on the books in Arizona, that were broken? Every state is different.

Yes, @Gatorrick22 ….. I also found that notion comical.
But, I’m trying to be more of an optimist these days.

I am no fan of Mike Pence but his actions on January 6th showed integrity. Something that a lot of politicians on both sides lack.

If you really think a name matters the Peoples Democratic Republic of Korea must also be a democratic republic or check for the last time an election was held in North Korea with multiple candidates. You can also tell that to the North Koreans being held in Kim's reeducation camps. The US is a Constitutional Republic based on democratically elected representation. You can educate yourself by reading Article 1, Section 2 of the US Constitution as well as the 14th and 17th Amendments of the Constitution.
