^^^^^ & where does @jhenderson251 suppport the gov restricting alcohol use, mr. reading comprehension? Hey, here's an idea, let's ask him! Hey, @jhenderson251, do you think the gov should restrict alcohol use? so that I don't have to come back later after he ans. CHECK MATE see, the prob with you BIG GOV types is you think that if someone is personally against something, it means they want it to be I am against & advocate against many things, but support them being LEGAL, like meth & religion.
There’s a fundamental difference between guidance and restrictions. Keep cranking those gears and you may understand. Or not.
Fox News knows it’s viewers fail IQ tests. How is everyone handling the government recommendation to one glass of wine or less daily currently in place?
well, if you read the OP, you know my position on this. I am bewildered by the fact that the government thinks anyone gives a shit what they think, and even more bewildered by people on this message board who seem to be ok with it. raise your hand if you knew we had an alcohol czar….
Where do you think the % Daily Value comes from on food and drink labels? Yup, your government. You guys crack me up. Government recommends you dont drink too much and you fear it… the government tells your daughter she is a breeding tool and you’re cheering from rooftops. Moronic logic.
Why on Earth would I not be ok with the government making health suggestions? Whether I agree with their suggestions or not, I’m certainly not going to be offended by it. Snowflakes gonna snowflake.
Good grief. The govt has been making recommendations on food and drink for decades. The guy's title is head of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, an agency that we've had more than 50 years. You're really suddenly offended by all this? Sounds like the hook is set, you've been reeled in and Fox is doubling down. Its lead story at the moment: BTW, 'Biden's czar' has been in that position since 2014.
Director of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) George Koob has been the “alcohol czar” since 2014. This is the stupidest shit I’ve seen from Fox News in a minute. edit: River just beat me to it.
Don't try to control what I read. Oh wait, that wasn't an attempt at control. It was a recommendation. Maybe it's time to admit that you wouldn't know or give 2 about this topic if Fox News hadn't fed it to you as something to get outraged by.
I just glanced at some of the comments on the Fox story. Good god, they actually believe it. Talk about the govt tracking your beer consumption, informing your insurance company so it can raise the rates ... and, of course, needing to overthrow the government because it's drunk with power.
Yeah, I've known quite a few attorneys, and you're right. Give them something that triggers a visceral reaction, and all their reasoning skills fly right out the window in favor of slinging feces like the rest of us apes.
It’s crazy. Especially some of the folks on here. We point out to them how the news they are consuming is very obviously misleading them and they just keep going back for more.
Some of my fellow "conservatives" are really just libertarians. No conservative has an issue with government health agencies doing their *actual* job. Our FDA sucks compared to others around the world because they dont do enough.
He’s the Director of “National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism” (I googled it) So you think his recommendation is inaccurate?
