Health agencies make recommendations all the time. The narrative used to be that moderate alcohol consumption was actually healthy. However the most recent evidence mostly refutes that. So if you want to have a drink, or two, or four, go ahead. I still do sometimes. But drinking two drinks a day because it is supposedly healthy is not wise.
