Wow, I can't imagine any possible reason that a factchecker would find that Trump lies more than another politicians. I mean, it has to be bias, right?

You do like cherry picking, don't river.

Did you read the first article? I talks about the propaganda element of these sop called fact checkers that come back later on after a Dem scandal has nearly blown over and then these organizations/"fact checkers" come out and try to explain away the "misunderstood" facts about what really happened to the Dem in question.

Yes, these people lie about the facts... "That's not what really happened..." "It's all just a misunderstanding" "This Dem was misquoted..."

Yeah. Politically motivated fact checkers don’t exist.

150 million people voted in the last election. Every single one of them plus another 50 million from overseas maybe? Absolutely not. I'm more into politics than the average person and didn't even consider watching. None of my friends even know this interview happened.

Nah, sorry, that number is legit. Musk has to pay Tucker ad sharing revenue every time it’s viewed, which is one reason he wanted to get rid of the bots.

Dude, most of X’s traffic is from overseas. I think it’s like 82% of X traffic is outside of the United States. Secondly, Musk is on the hook for ad sharing revenue with Tucker, so I seriously doubt the count is manipulated.

No, Tucker Carlson's Trump interview doesn't have 230 million video views on X

The views metric currently shown on X, displayed simply as "views," are tweet views.

This number shows how many impressions a tweet receives. An impression is counted when a user actively goes to the tweet page or when a tweet appears in a user's timeline after being retweeted by another user. Views are also counted whenever a tweet shows up on a user's timeline. As such, a single user can be counted multiple times in the view count.

On the other hand, video views, which are no longer publicly displayed on X, count the number of times a piece of media content is played on the platform —although there are a few addendums to this metric. A video view on X is counted if the media plays for two or more seconds. And, if a user attempts to scroll past a video, but more than 50 percent of the player is still visible on the screen for that time frame, a video view is still counted. Autoplays are counted as well.

To break down what this means for Tucker Carlson's Trump interview: The video itself was actually played only 14.8 million times, for at least two seconds of the more than 46-minute interview — or just over six percent of the total 236 million times someone saw the post on X.

“Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro railed against Tucker Carlson's interview with former President Donald Trump, calling portions of it "Orwellian" and filled with "softball" questions.

This would've been a great opportunity for him to ask the former president and leading Republican candidate about some of those principles. He didn't do any of it. Instead, he sort of, I mean—how soft were the softballs that Tucker was throwing to Donald Trump?" Shapiro said. "He asked Donald Trump to rip on Mike Pence by suggesting that Donald Trump had always been very nice to Mike Pence. This question is so bizarre, like, I don't even know what to say about this."

Shapiro continued, "I mean, it's just a propaganda, 45-minute softball for Trump. That's all that is. I mean, just, realistically speaking. Now, you may love it. Maybe that's your bag, but that's what it is."

Ben Shapiro furious at Tucker Carlson's "Orwellian" Trump interview

Nope ... I'm sure musk knows the difference between people who actually watched the video and saw the imbedded ads verse people who just scrolled past the tweet.

Edit. I see Mikemcd810 posted the actual views. Do the math. That's a 6% engagement for people who saw the tweet and actually watched at least 2 seconds of the video.

He is but that has nothing to do with pointing out how outrageous it is to believe that nearly twice as many people watched a Trump interview than watched the Super Bowl

Lol. You carry around the “disturbing” thought of Chewbacca waking around and realize how close he came to overthrowing the govt?

You were the one who said you’d be shocked if there were even 2 million people who watched it. Now you’re sourcing info that says it was watched over 14 million times. What are you attempting to prove, other than you do apparently live under a very large rock?

The number of impressions is authentic and relevant, as it is tied directly to the amount of compensation Musk owes Carlson for the tweet.
