27 years Police Lieutenant with *NO* arrests and doesn’t even understand basics like Miranda Rights??? Holy shit. Guy obviously lied a few times, that had to be a lie, right? No way, unless that dude is the most useless cop in history.

I actually suspect the woman taking pictures was probably an activist or something. She probably was acting “weird” intentionally and was prepared for this encounter. But if it’s going to find out bozos like these two, it’s good work on her part either way.

It's definitely an activist, althought this is the only situation of hers that I've ever watching. Her handle is Pink Camera Magic, or something like that. But yeah, I don't have a problem with activists, especially the ones who are not super abrasive. Nothing wrong with being firm and standing your ground like this situation. I've learned a lot from lawyers reviewing and narrating these scenarios.

And speaking of lies.. I did like the part where the Lieutenant said he didn't delete anything from the camera and then said the Judge was going to delete it, which the attorney doing the questioning immediately pounced on.

Got anything of value to add to the topic at hand? Any comment on anabolic steroids being pushed by police? Destruction of evidence in steroid dales by police? Using police K9's for punishment?

Do you think cops who exchange racist texts should be allowed to be cops in any jurisdiction inside the US?

I’m honestly sorry to see you’re so eaten up by the subject. Everyone has their hang ups I suppose.
Seems personal to you. I’ll leave it at that.
Maybe you ought to start a thread on dishonest politicians next.

When cops violate your rights and one puts his hands on you, it can make you feel some sort of way. The fact that it happens all day, everyday across the country doesn't really make me feel any better. And there's already an existing thread on lying politicians. Personally, I'm more worried about a police state than lying politicians. A lying politician isn't going to shoot my dog or arrest me for hurting his ego.

    Sounds about right.

A Group of White Cops Beat a Black Undercover Officer at a BLM Protest

A Black police officer was undercover with a white colleague during a protest in 2017 when they were both arrested by their unknowing co-workers. The white officer walked away unharmed—but the Black officer had his phone smashed, was beaten, and suffered permanent neck injuries.

    Damn Daytona Beach

You don't want to run into this cop. A loose pitbull chased this man's 6 year old child up the porch. The cop who showed up turned out to be the dangerous one.

    Clear misunderstanding of the law
    Unlawful Arrest
    Unlawful Search
Laughing about almost firing on an innocent man
Lying to his cop buddies about what happened
Questioning a child without their dad there
Unsuccessfully trying to get the dad hemmed up with DFACS in retaliation
Leaving out of the report that his neighbor said he was a good guy
Taken to jail with a Lieutenant and Sargent on scene who didn't intervene

How many cops and supervisors on scene let this go down? Do better.

It's crazy that people can see those bullet points and think, "Nah, there's nothing wrong." I've posted a couple of these.

    Delaware State Police
Lawsuit for 1st, 4th, and 14th Amendment violations

Quite a few state police agencies in this thread. State sponsored free speech retaliation, literally. How many cops conspire to violate this man? Is it necessary to steal someone's property and destroy it? They took his sign, after they had already been advised that they aren't to take signs. Is it ok for cops to kick people for no reason while smiling directly in their face? Is it necessary for two cops to go 100mph in a 55 to pull over someone who hasn't done anything wrong, conspiring with your cop buddy on the way to pull this man over on bullshit pretenses? Nah. They have also been advised not to pull anyone over for giving the middle finger. 3 cops, a supervisor, and a prosecutor. Everyone knew this was BS, and no one cared. Pulling someone over without any reasonable suspicion and threatening them with arrest because thei feelings were hurt seems like a culture issue.
    h
But they'll get 'em next time! He must be punished.

Sorry, I couldn't find an article to go with it that wasn't behind a paywall.

    • After an Arkansas woman called 911, a responding officer shot at her Pomeranian dog, missed, and mistakenly shot the woman in the leg. The officer then claimed the woman’s bullet wound was a scratch from her dog.
    Columbia County, Arkansas

    Lawsuit filed this week

What is it with cops and dogs? Someone take this guy's badge and gun. A lady calls police for help. This cop is an A-hole right off the rip, cussing and threatening to kill this lady's dog. This was a call for help, not someone accused of any crime. She needed help from the police and one shot her.

He shot this lady in the shin. He was shooting at... a Pomeranian! He shot in their immediate direction, and by their, I mean that another cop was standing right next to the lady. Something tells me that if he had hit his partner, he wouldn't be aggressive, cussing, and denying that he shot him. What a puss.

This dude shows zero remorse. He gets aggressive with a woman he just shot. "I didn't shoot you!" basically calling her a liar. If you listen, he says "Shit" when he gets a little closer, sounding like he knows what he had done, but continues saying "I didn't shoot you, your dog scratched you." Then he lies to what sounds like a supervisor saying he didn't shoot her, and saying that she "sent her dogs out" insinuating that she sent them out to attack the cops. I hope this lady gets paid!

This guy should be fired. Or bought a coffee depending on who you talk to.

Picture for a Pomeranian for reference.... Her's was a Pomeranian mix, so it could be a little bit larger, tipping the scale at 8 to 10lbs.

WATCH: Arkansas deputy shoots at Pomeranian but hits woman standing on porch instead

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ark. (KATV) — A lawsuit has been filed against a Columbia County deputy, the sheriff, and the sheriff's office after the deputy shoots at a dog, but strikes a woman standing on her front porch instead.

Tina Hight, the woman who was shot in August 2022, still has the bullet lodged in her shin. She's now not only dealing with anxiety but also continuous doctor's appointments.

In the video, Columbia County Deputy Brian Williams is heard shouting at the dog: “Get back, get your dog, I’ll kill this ************. Get your God**** dog."

I’m nervous to ever call the police again, that's for sure," Hight said. "I expected him to come for my protection and instead I was the victim."

More on this one from earlier this week:

Delaware man who police blocked from warning of speed trap gets $50K

DOVER — Delaware State Police have agreed to pay $50,000 to resolve a federal lawsuit filed by a man who said troopers violated his constitutional rights by preventing him from warning motorists about a speed trap.

A judgment was entered Friday in favor of Jonathan Guessford, 54, who said in the lawsuit that police unlawfully prevented him from engaging in peaceful protest by standing on the roadside and holding up a small cardboard sign reading "Radar Ahead!"

As Guessford drove away, he made an obscene hand gesture at the troopers. Dashcam video shows Douglas racing after him at speeds of more than 100 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone, followed closely by Gallo and Box.

"Take it to court. That's what I want you to do," Box replied after Guessford told troopers he was going to take legal action. Box also threatened to charge Guessford with resisting arrest.

"We're going to take you in. We're going to tow the car, and we'll call social services for the kid," Box said, referring to Guessford's young son, who was with Guessford and witnessed his profanity-laden tirade against the officers. "It's not a threat; it's a promise," Box added.

    ---------------------------------------------------

Similar to the Daytona Beach incident above, some cops are vindictive pieces of shit and want to take peoples kids away from them. In this case, the cops knew that nothing was going to stick. The officer called a supervisor, the supervisor said it wasn't going to stick, the officer agreed. They just wanted to "inconvenience" him for hurting their poor wittle feelings, I guess the just threw in the part about taking away his child just to spice things up a bit. Pathetic.

I can only imagine that those defending such behavior think it couldn't happen to them. That should not be a reason to be an informed citizen participating in active self-governance. But it's also not true. It can happen to you
