So truth is a left or a right thing? Truth is truth. It has no bias. Refute the truth if you can. When you can’t will you acknowledge it?

It reminds me of how Trump fell completely silent about Stormy Daniels (whom he had called "Horse Face") after she referred to him as "Tiny." Apparently she knew exactly how to shut him up.

I have yet to meet a single person, including uber liberals and Uber conservatives who have ever mentioned any concerns they have with Jan 6. It’s not a topic in Americana, except by keyboard cowboys and MSNBC. Contrary to some of the nut jobs out there, it’s not akin to Pearl Harbor.

 

Yeah, I saw that too. There is apparently no limit on twitter for repeated views, and simply scrolling past the same tweet multiple times counts as multiple views. "Views" on twitter is a worthless stat.

 

It should be. The way we have preserved our democracy has been by having checks and balances and accepting the outcome of our elections. These are snowflakes taken to a dangerous level.

 

And the FBI. And the DOJ. And the 1,000 people indicted for their participation in the insurrection.

 

Watching is not agreeing. The more important thing is learning about Trump’s views on walking on the beach. I learned a lot about how you pick your feet up and put them down. Grass walking as well.

 

Disagree. It’s something I carry around in the back of my mind to remind me of how easily things can go south in a Democracy. It’s also why I went to the Registrar’s office a few days later to change my party affiliation (NPA now) and I wasn’t the only one lining up to do so - this in a county that trump won 70:30.

Totally forgot it was even taking place. Not that I would waste another minute of my life watching it.

 

I had forgotten about it, too. After I realized that the baseball game between the Yankees and the Nationals was almost a foregone conclusion (the Yankees were leading by something like 7-0 margin en-route to a final score of 9-1) I flipped the channel to the debate. Although I think the nomination is still Trump's I decided that the debate would more interesting than listening to the Orange One bloviate.

 

if you want to dispute any of Factcheck's findings, please do. Otherwise that's the an empty attempt to reject anything and everything bad about Trump.

 

My shocked face that the headlong attempt to jail your competitor would galvanize and perhaps increase his number of followers.

 

This in one article owned by one of the main fact checkers (FactCheckr.org and Politifact) trying to sound equitable in their superposed evenness... and honesty.

This one right below is what I notice to be the truth when if comes to these fact checking sites.

It is an almost daily occurrence. A huge story breaks online. Some CEO, company, or politician was caught in a lie and now the truth is splattered all over the internet like a crime scene. This trends for a while, with the fallout gaining momentum and threatening the bank balances of powerful individuals. People wonder, how can so-and-so ever recover from a catastrophe this damaging? Who will ever trust them again?

Then in come the ‘fixers’. The ‘fact-checkers’ who use their big, digital eraser to edit the facts.

The public are told that they didn’t hear or see what they definitely heard and that their understanding of the truth lacks ‘context’ or is ‘misinformed’ in some way. It’s all about softening the story so that it can be buried, and the media – cowards that they are – allow it to happen
