For every claim of voter fraud, there is a logical explanation

Almost 3 years later, we still have dumb ass republicans making false claims about voter fraud. This one comes from former Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who claims the Cyber Ninja found that 17,000 duplicate ballots were cast and counted in Arizona, and wants to know why no arrests have been made.

Of course, this is a total lie. The Cyber Ninja didn't find 17,000 duplicate ballots, they found 17,000 duplicate photos taken of the same envelope for mail in ballots. Why were duplicate photos taken in some cases? For signature curing. If the envelope signature was rejected by the first reviewer, the envelope wasn't opened, and instead sent to a different department where they attempted to contact the voter for signature curing. If the signature was cured, another photo was taken of the envelope and then the envelope opened, and the vote counted once ....

Only question is, is the former Arizona AG too dumb to know this, or does the think you are so dumb that you'll believe him ...

The latter, too many willing people to believe the lies and the big lie.

Might be a good spot to provide an example from 2016 re: North Carolina. Posted about it several times way back when. Prior to the 2016 election, an NC politico had supposedly found fraud based on registration rolls, which created a lot of media buzz. A subsequent audit after the 2016 election found that most of the suspected fraud cases were former felons who were ineligible to vote or permanent resident aliens, some of whom apparently didn't realize they were ineligible.

Nothing coordinated other than in Bladen County (by a Republican). Nothing widespread out of millions of votes in that election that could have affected the outcome.
    • 441 open cases of voting by suspected active felons.
    • 41 non-citizens with legal status (green card, etc.) cast ballots.
    • 2 cases of voter impersonation referred to prosecutors.
    • No evidence of ballot stuffing or equipment tampering.
    • Irregularities in absentee by-mail voting in Bladen County (I believe this was the Republican operative, McRae Dowless, who was convicted--he passed away last eyar).

Hillary needed to hear this, in 2016, when she was prattling about a stolen election and an illegitimate president.

22 U.S. Sates committed voter fraud in the 2020 presidential elections. Some crafty states made you post date your ballot to show the date as November 3rd so that when it gets mixed with the other ballots the date would appear to be legit, this worked becasue may of these boxes were owned and put out there in several keys places by third Party entities. They tried to cover their azz with that trick, knowing that there was no way to check when the ballot was dropped off when it had the correct date on the ballot envelope itself.

This was massive nation wide voter fraud...

Ballots received after November 3 will be counted in 22 US states

Hillary Clinton complained about Russian interference in the campaign which she apparently believed could have affected the outcome. Since I apparently missed it if you could provide a link in which she complained that the election was stolen from her through voter fraud it would greatly be appreciated.

So you are saying Texas, Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Utah, and West Virginia all committed voter fraud to help Trump? Damn ... I wonder how much Joe Biden would have won by if not for these blatant cheaters!

The only problem with that narrative is that the ballots received after November 3rd were considered perfectly legal in every state that accepted them. They were all post-marked on or before November 3rd. Ironically not counting any ballots received after November 3rd would have had the effect of disenfranchising service personnel stationed overseas or other American citizens residing outside of the country.

Isolated voter fraud or attempted voter fraud happens. Even in Florida, where DeSantis has assured us that we've had very secure and accurate elections.

Many of Trump's assertions regarding dead people voting and more votes being cast than residents existed weren't mathematically possible on their face. The accusations against specific poll workers weren't supported by any evidence, and those people got death threats. Other assertions of fraud were essentially withdrawn. I recall one of the hearings I listened to where Rudy tried to equivocate but conceded to the Court after being pressed that they weren't actually alleging voter fraud. There was another case where their "expert" (purposefully or not) had analyzed and/or listed the wrong location in the calculations. We all know what happened with the Dominion allegations and probably why Trump doesn't seem to mention Dominion. That sort of stuff happened in case after case.

Trump alleged there was fraud in both the 2016 primaries and the general election despite having won. Of course he was going to allege it in 2020 if he lost. He told us he would.

Thanks. Won’t make a bit of difference to the MAGA crowd. They’re either too invested or too stupid - I tend to think it’s the former - to ever admit they were flat out mislead by the now indicted former president and his henchmen.

When the GOP loses, they set a premise and try to work their way backwards to supporting facts.

Much like their cries that Joe Biden took foreign cash for favors, they convict him in the right wing ecosphere and then try to find the facts to affirm it.

The election is no different. It was stolen because Trump lost. Period. And no, they don't need any provable facts to believe that.

While she certainly complained about her loss nowhere in the article does she blame voter fraud. The article references her 2019 interview in which she used the word "stolen" although as I previously pointed out when another poster cited that interview it was in reference to Russian interference in the 2016 campaign. In fact her real complaint in that article seems to be the Electoral College which had the effect of deny her the victory even though she received almost 3 million more votes than Trump. She never complained that Trump won because he received fraudulent votes.

Translation: "Betrayal" in the case of Pence refers to his decision to comply with the Electoral Count Act and the US Constitution. A more appropriate analogy would be that of the number two person in an organized crime family who refused to follow the edict of the Don.

Words alone are usually covered by the First Amendment. But words that are a part of a larger conspiracy to commit a crime are a completely different story. When did Hillary hold a rally and charge thousands of her supporters to march towards the Capitol Building? When did Hillary call up State representatives and ask them to simply claim fraud and that Hillary would declare herself the winner and take care of the rest? And when did Hillary conspire with others to work up a fake elector scheme and have then VP Biden unconstitutionally abuse his power to send the election back to the states?

None of that never happened with Hillary. All of this, and more, happened with Trump.

Still waiting for someone to explain how mass voter fraud could happen without being detected as part of an audit.
