I'm for DeSantis and he will get my vote in the primaries, but I think Trump pretty much has it locked up. Unlike a few other conservatives on this board, I will back any republican candidate he gets the nomination. I will not allow my vote to wasted, it's just like voting for Biden or and other liberal.
I'm way more interested in setting an example for my son's and daughter.

I tend to agree. If today's Republican party was still the party of Ronald Reagan rather than a cult of personality focused on the worship of a former failed real estate developer, reality television star and possibly the greatest con artist in history, Nikki Haley would win the nomination going away. Instead if she's lucky the best that she can hope for is second place, a finish that could set her up for a strong run in 2028 if the party returns to sanity by then.

I agree with your sentiments, but in the interest of accuracy it needs a slight correction. Trump never said he reached down and grabbed. Look at the transcript:

Trump: "And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything."

Bush: "Whatever you want."

Trump: "Grab them by the *****. You can do anything."

Maybe the ”you” was inclusive and Trump might’ve done it, but strictly speaking this is not an admission. By the way, that doesn’t absolve him of being a slimeball.

What’s so sad about that video is Trump revealed what was going on in Hollywood, but nobody paid attention. Everyone was so focused on using that to bring down Trump that they ignored the fact that he shed light on the behavior of so many people in Hollywood.

He cracked that door open and no one was interested in going through and investigating. Women had to suffer in Hollywood for another two years before the Me Too movement finally broke.

 

It wasn't limited to Hollywood, of course. Sadly, a certain percentage of men of all ages, occupations, and political stripes have been sexually harassing and sexually abusing women since forever.

 

I don’t think Trump would win a vote in his own family. Anything is possible but he barely won back in 2016, keeps losing since, and has only become more toxic. I’d be floored.

Those of us who see the danger of another trump presidency, need to band together, even if it is just for this election. Vote AGAINST trump by voting for Biden. You're only doing half the job by not voting for trump and sitting home while there are people in the world who don't have the power of voting.
