I am one thousand percent behind this. I've been saying this for years.

Urban has a really hard time dealing with stress; his team had to be perfect, had to win everything. His teams would lose one game a season and the one loss would almost destroy him. He took it to heart so much, it cracked him. It wasn't a conscious choice. That is how he is wired. It's such a shame because he really cared, and is such a great coach. In hindsight, had he gotten some counseling to help him deal with stress, who knows what could have been.

ROH all the way for me. His record at UF speaks for itself.

Steve the Dazzler ADumbazz Adazzio was the OC in ‘09. It is a miracle we only lost one game that year and we cannot blame the offense entirely for it.

Urban was checked out after ‘09 but Foley gave him an extra million just to avoid a coaching search. And when the time came a year later he still wasn’t ready. Many fortes to Foley but hiring football coaches was not one of them.

I thought the unofficial position was that "when enough time passed after he coached at tOSU" it would likely come up again.

About Rainey eating at Urban's house...
If Rainey was a player- I'm 99% sure it's not a violation. If as a recruit- I'm not as sure.
I was on the UF cross-country teams in the 80s and we would have a dinner or quiet get-togethers at our coach's house maybe once/ year.
    Just a team bonding thing.
We def would not have done it if it was against the rules.

Probably JF's biggest failure. He knew in a year that he was going to be in search mode and still could only come up with Musclecramp.

Muschamp looked ideal as the DC/head coach in waiting at Texas. Scooping up Muschamp out from under their noses was a big deal. The vicious hate posts toward Mack Brown on Longhorn message boards was cringe-worthy. Hard to blame Foley for the bad hire - who could have predicted he’d bomb as bad as he did.

First, thanks for bringing it to us! It seems Hayes is very angry Swamp Kings wasn't a hit piece so he manufactured his own hit piece for a few minutes of attention on the skirt tails of Swamp Kings. Just my 2-cents.

Disclaimer: I'm not a big Urban Meyer fan either . . . but am interested in what all the rest of you think.

Matt Hayes clearly has a burr in his saddle for the UF football program, imho. He didn’t write garbage like that when he was at the mullet wrapper FL Times Union in Jax. Because he knew the local readership was very pro Gators and would be turned off by it. Now he throws dripping red meat like this hit piece to all the Gator haters because he knows it’ll get lots of clicks. Hacks like him and the dim bulb clowns in the comments section have turned SDS into a pile of manure site, I don’t even open it anymore.

Addazio was that OC in question. Dive left, dive right.

I was never in the loop on insider stories, but I now wonder what all else Cam did to get tossed. Urban was talking about not turning y9ur back on kids, for worst things than what was reported Cam did, so why was he tossed? Was it because he knew Cam would land on his feet and was just immature or did Cam do some other stuff that wasn't reported.

Finebaum got waaayyyy too much play in this documentary. I forget the exact comment, but something to the effect of Urban would look past any bad behavior, no matter how terrible, no limit to it, was finebaum again being dramatic about everything he said. He acted like Auburn beating FL was unheard of in 06 and 07, like it the upset of the century both times. Then we have reporters who are suppose to be pro gator make it seem like the university was paying off people left and right to keep stuff quiet. How is it guys get arrested for barking at dogs, or having a dime bag of weed on them, but also UF was brushing stuff under the rug left and right?

I know Chump was from Gainesville, Fla. But why ANYONE, from UF would select a 4 year UGA player as coach is incomprehensible to me. Some lines, you don't cross.

I had several UGA friends who thought it was going to be a hit piece and when it wasn't, they couldn't handle it. After watching episode 3 I understood why they were so salty. Honestly though, if Netflix did a documentary on UGA 21-24 or whatever it's going to be, no chance I'm watching that. I will never understand other fanbases that almost rather see rivals failure over their own teams success.

I, for one, have always taken Meyer at his word that he loved being at UF and did everything he could to be successful while he was here until he couldn't and he walked away. I've never liked how many fans treated him like a jilted lover. If it takes a fluffy documentary to bring him back into the graces of rank and file Gators fans, it's a good thing and we should celebrate him.

I will always hold Urban in high regard. I was never able to fully understand his meltdown, I guess it was just pressure and anxiety.

Until Kirby wins #3 I consider him the second best coach in College Football in the 2,000's.

I assume it was because, as a scholarship student, he would get access to meals anyway. IOW it was nothing above and beyond what he would otherwise receive.

Galen screwed up by not sending Jarvis to Palatka with the money or at least have Jarvis handing the envelope to the other kid.

maybe 24 (or 23) will end with Smart getting fired after playing hokeypokey with a ballboy

it did not bother me so much as him leaving, but what he said about UF after he left 9and after he took millions from Foley.
