And if Putin appoints you as an enemy, you better start digging your grave. You know, because he's a humanitarian. Rule-of-law kind of guy. Skip the trial, get right to the execution. Hell, execute everyone on the plane. They're all probably guilty of something. Putin: "What's more important, justice or my ego?"

The helicopter crew was not told about the defection plan, and when they landed, they freaked out and tried to run for it and were killed.

Rule number one when crew gets in an aircraft: Always ask about the flight plan.

A Russian helicopter crew freaked out, tried to run, and was killed after realizing their captain had defected to Ukraine, official says

I wonder if other Russian pilots will start defecting as they realize that Russia is losing this war.

Negative. There have been large protests in years past in Russia that would dwarf anything that Prigozhin's death would stir up. At the end of the day, he was a billionaire oligarch who rose to fame with Wagner's operations. He doesn't really have a political following, even if he is revered to an extent by the population. Also seems like quite the loose cannon. How did he not understand what his fate would be? Got the big head..

The West reviled Prigozhin for killing 70,000 Ukrainian troops in the taking of Bakhmut.

Then they revered him for leading a heavily armed Temper tantrum on Moscow.

Now they regard him as a victim of Bad Man Putin.

More positive news for Ukraine: Ukraine's Navy and special forces conducted a raid in Cape Tarkhankut in Crimea. Destroyed a coastal Bastion missile system, radar stations, and one S-400 SAM system, then raised the flag of Ukraine in a symbolic gesture to help relax the Russians. They may have also destroyed one or more ammo dumps. The article also mentioned the destruction of three S-300 systems in the Kherson Oblast.

Reports of fighting, explosions in occupied Crimea as Ukrainian special forces raid Russians

    Notes:
    1) Crimea is a large region to attack, but it is also a large region to defend. We may see more of these special forces attacks in the future.

    2) At the rate that Ukraine is destroying Russia's SAM systems, there may not be any left by the time the F-16's arrive to shoot any of them down.

No one's gonna shed any tears for Prigo. We just find it hilarious that Putin killed the one man that could have produced a military victory in Ukraine, thereby cementing Putin as one of the dumbest leaders on the planet.

For some reason, I don't think Russia will be celebrating this war during their annual May Day parade. They will want to make sure that it gets erased from the history books as well.

Stalin and Saddam did similar things … but they at least waited until the end of the war to do it.

If a rogue US General and his miles-long armored column, with 8,000 soldiers, advanced on Washington, DC, shooting down two U.S. planes in the process, killing 12 servicemen … 9 out of ten on this thread would be shrieking for the rogue general’s execution.

    The hypocrisy.

Russians are only able to destroy 60-70% of Ukraine's drone-boats, while the other 30-40% get through and attack the target. The economics on the cost of a warship vs. the cost of a drone-boat indicates that this ratio (2:1) is devastating and unsustainable for the Russian Navy.

Budanov: Only '60-70%' of deployed Ukrainian maritime kamikaze drones destroyed by Russia

I thought that was you in the Cukoo's Nest, photoshopped to add Ukraine's flag in a false-flag operation. I assumed that one of your other Russian propagandist "friends" wants to stab you in the back and be given the plum assignment of polluting Gator Country with Russian lies.

Actually most would want such a person arrested and brought to trial......not murdered. Of course most of the normal people here can discern the differences you seem unable to grasp.

Brits have a forecast for Putin's future: continued humiliation, with scattered weakness and vulnerability. IOW, a very cloudy future.

Vladimir Putin’s humiliation is far from over
