Quite the middle opportunity for anyone who took that Gators back when they were +9... not that any of the fans here would back off their Gator position.
This line is down to 7. LSU down half a point, now a 2.5 fave against the Nolies in Orlando The book I'm looking at has removed the FL/Utah game . . . obviously due to the Utah QB situation. The FL season wins O/U (5.5) is also off the board. There now appears to be a sentiment that FL is a real threat to win game one. If we do, those who had the over on season wins will be looking pretty good.
Not sure if we are looking at the same site, but I was just checking the UF line and noticed the game was removed. Came to mention it and saw your post.
They probably had to slow down the action on FL and also wait for some intel on the QB situation. When the line comes back, expect it to be a pretty low Utah fave, in an attempt to get more action on Utah.
Did something happen at Notre Dame? I got them at -20 vs Navy. Yesterday it was -20.5, and this morning it is -10 and the O/U is only 25.5 Covid?
I retract my previous statement.. lol. For some reason, the page was displaying the first half line, not the whole game line. It's never done that before. Didn't realize it till I added the O/U to my slip
I figured I'd leave it for the lolz. After about 10 minutes, the site corrected itself and started displaying correctly. I was about to bet the mortgage on the O/U.
New clock rules will have implications for O/U plays this season. The clock will no longer stop for a first down, except during the last two minutes of the 2nd/4th Qs. One source suggested that this will eliminate 7 to 9 plays per game. That may seem minor, but could account for one score. Maybe 4 to 5pt difference on avg. I'd be very careful about betting overs and would lean toward unders early in the season, until the bookies adapt.
I'm trying 1st quarter O/U for team points this year, specifically the under for a couple where I think the team is going to struggle scoring points. This may work out well. We'll see how it goes.
You can take Florida +7... I'm going to wait and see if it comes up another half point. Utah has Rising listed as the starter: UF +7 (-110) UF moneyline +230 O/U 46.5
First I’m hearing of this. But don’t worry, College Football fans. There will be extra commercials and fatuous talk from announcers about the importance of third downs to keep the overall length of the game intact.
