Not sure how you get a disagree for this. How can someone tell you that it didnt make you more aware?

Seriously, its a fair point. Masks may indeed have a secondary help attached to them. It did increase awareness for distancing and that alone likely helps at least a small amount.

Now that is hilarious coming from you and, for example, DeSantis.

No sir, we can't have virtue. It offends those without it.

There is a difference between virtue and haughtiness. That said, you were probably just afraid.

Based on how virologists define ‘isolation of a virus’, social-distancing should have allowed 26 unmasked people piled into my home to watch a Gator game.

So are you saying virtuous people can't also be foolish, or are you saying you aren't virtuous and, therefore, not foolish? For me anyway, one who is not a scientist and who constantly and haughtily criticizes them is, almost by definition, foolish.

Odd that you of all people should mention haughtiness.

Covid epidemic is over. Not sure why anyone would still wear a cloth mask, most do not wear them correctly and touch them with their hands. Even most Health Care workers I have seen have picked up some very bad habits over the last 3 years.

If one is worried, there are vaccines and medications available. If your health is still of concern, then you probably need to talk with a Physician about your fatness/comorbidities.

I am saying those wearing masks were virtue signaling or ignorant. Sadly many were ignorant being led by virtuous fools.

There is nothing virtuous in being deluded, much less expecting others to participate in your delusion.

People think it’s over because the media stopped talking about it. If the media starts talking about it again the public will succumb to anxiety.

So everyone wearing a mask was virtue signaling while you humbly and without a trace of arrogance paraded around without one? That strikes me as very judgmental and narrow-minded.

You just called South Carolina a poor gene pool state.
How are you judging anyone on narrow-mindedness?

Nope. I wore the mask when I patronized businesses that required it in the great virtue of the idiots in public health. But I absolutely did not wear one otherwise. There was no need.

Oh, I'm not saying there was a need to wear masks. This isn't about masks. I was commenting on your own version of virtue signaling, and the fact the idiots are not our public health servants, but rather those who know next to nothing about public health yet refer to our public health officials as idiots.

Public health officials - Public has no business wearing masks. Wear a mask. Wear two and goggles if you got ‘em.
