Yeah I doubt it will go full on woke. Threw that in there so this thread had some TH legs.
It will be set in Boston. No more talk radio show.

Frasier and Niles were woke, Martin was the beer drinking cop aka "the real American" and the sports guy at the radio station was the anti-woke sexist chud. Im guessing in this his kid will probably be more Gen Z in their attitudes .

I did read about Boston and I saw the theme song intro too. A nice tip-of-the-cap to the original. We shall see!

John Mahoney lived a few blocks from us. Commuted to LA when they were shooting but came back to Oak Park when they wrapped each season. Used to see him with his partner at Poor Phils, a popular local pub. Chatted him up once while we were in line at Walgreen's. Super nice guy. Was involved in local theater for a while. He produced a couple of plays at the high school.

IHO, John one of the great character actors of his time, also a brilliant stage actor. Didn't act professionally until he was almost 40. John Malkovitch discovered him and recruited him to join the Steppenwolf ensemble.

Between Frasier and Say Anything, he played two of the best uptight dads around

Not sure. Did they ever do it with a single actor revising the role?

Not sure either but they had multiple "trek shows" on simultaneously that did have some actors playing in different shows albeit different timelines.

I like Star Trek but they delved into time travel way too much for me to keep up with things!

Thats not unusual though considering I seldom know what day of the week it is! LOL

Picard and Worf were in multiple series as regulars, but I dont think it was 3, though I think they were guests on a few episodes of other spin offs.

In Say Anything, he was full on MAGA scamming the old folks home but balanced it out as the ultimate libbie in Moonstruck.

We've actually been bingeing Frasier for a while now, 3 episodes a day. 11 seasons, 24 episodes--remember when shows had 20+ episodes a season, unlike these days when 8 or 10 are streamed at a time? We're on season 9, episode 14.

Niles was the best. Frasier was annoying a lot of the time.

    Richard Belzer as John Munch?

maybe some characters from Green Acres, Petticoat Junction, and Beverly Hillbillies.

Mahoney appeared in an episode of Cheers but not as Martin.

Anybody remember the episode where Martin did an impression of Daphne's accent? Thought it was funny because John is originally from Lancashire.

Sounds like something Trump would say.
