If the PAC attorney coached this man to lie originally, to protect Trump, wouldn’t that be more than an ethical problem (the already plain conflict of interest) on the part of the attorney… and wading into possible obstruction on the part of that attorney as well?

Could be another classic case of MAGA (making attorneys get attorneys).

co-dependents all paying their own legal bills. that is going to get old real quick

Trump co-defendants in Georgia face massive legal bills (cnbc.com)

As former President Donald Trump and his army of lawyers prepare for his formal surrender on Thursday, a harsh new reality is emerging for the co-defendants charged alongside him in Georgia: Their legal bills are about to skyrocket, and it appears no help is on the way from Trump.

“I was reliably informed Trump isn’t funding any of us who are indicted,” attorney and co-defendant Jenna Ellis said Friday in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Ellis is one of 19 people who were charged Aug. 14 in a sprawling indictment by a grand jury in Fulton County after an investigation by District Attorney Fani Willis. The defendants are accused of participating in a criminal effort to interfere in the state’s results in the 2020 presidential election on behalf of then-candidate Trump.

Trump has a history of paying for at least some of his allies’ legal counsel. His entire political network, including his joint fundraising committees, spent over $70 million combined from the start of 2020 through the end of 2022 on legal fees, according to a report by OpenSecrets.

DT trying to drag Barron into his circus and momma ain't happy about it

Donald Trump At War With Melania Over Son Barron Ultimatum: Ex-President Believes ‘It’s Time for his Son to … get Involved in his Public Life’ (msn.com)

As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, Melania is “seething with fury” after The Donald, 77, posted a photo of the rarely-seen high schooler on social media in an attempt to belittle President Joe Biden. But Donald, according to sources, “believes it’s time for his son to accept his legacy and get involved in his public life, like his older siblings.”

“He has always believed, despite Melania’s wishes, that Barron would walk in the same footsteps as Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany,” a family insider told RadarOnline.com. But Melania has again made it very clear that’s only going to happen over her dead body.”

The source added it has set up a “war” between the couple, who have not been together seen since they posed for photos at Ivanka’s daughter Arabella’s birthday. The duo held a private dinner with the 11-year-old weeks before they missed out on her Bat Mitzvah in June 2023.

Sourc es said Melania, who has avoided the campaign trail this time around, has no intention of assisting Donald to win back the White House. She has also been absent from his various criminal proceedings.

She better watch that over my dead body stuff. I'm sure there's been a plot picked out for her already off the 7th hole at Westminster.

Missing a grandchild's bat mitzvah is close to unforgivable. Odd that she had her bat mitzvah at 11. The standard is 13, though girls often have theirs at 12. Never heard of a girl having one at 11.

Or maybe her parents were helping her one-up her friends. Props to Arabella for being prepared at such a young age. My twins were weeks away from their 14th birthday and they still struggled.

    BINGO. That didn't take long.

How is this legal? Seems like he is just buying testimony at this point

Donald Trump Gives Rudy Giuliani Money Amid Fears He'll Flip (msn.com)

Donald Trump's Bedminster Golf Club in New Jersey will reportedly host a lavish $100,000-per-ticket fundraiser to raise money for Rudy Giuliani's legal defense fund.

The September 7 event is described as "an evening in support of America's mayor" that will include a 90-minute roundtable with Trump and Giuliani, followed by a dinner with the former New York City mayor-turned-Trump-confidant, according to an invitation posted on X, formerly Twitter, by The New York Times's Shane Goldmacher.
    ...................
A website has been created called the Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund to raise money on his behalf due to the actions of the "Deep State." The website states, "Rudy's loyalty to President Trump and the truth has come with a hefty price."

Giuliani also posted a direct address in Palm Beach online where supporters can send checks specifically for his defense.

    Interesting. Particularly:

On Jun 27 govt asked for a conflicts hearing before chief judge Boasberg in DC, who supervises the DC grand jury, where the perjury occurred. Govt advised Judge Cannon same day in sealed filings. Woodward did *not* object.

Cannon is critical of GJ proceedings way up in DC?...

on the verge of being removed is what I keep reading. scheduling hearings in the courtroom that by their definition are private and to be heard in chambers. just stupid mistakes or maybe just ignorance of what it is she does. I suspect that Trump will be convicted in multiple jurisdictions before Cannon ever goes to trial

What a Mess: Judge Aileen Cannon Keeps Making Errors - MeidasTouch Network

Most recently, Judge Cannon scheduled a hearing on a protective order for classified documents in her courtroom in Fort Pierce, Florida for August 25. There was only one problem. A glaring one. Under the Classified Information Protections Act (CIPA), that hearing has to take place under seal. Yup, “under seal” like the documents Jack Smith keeps filing that she keeps striking. Judge Cannon scheduled the CIPA hearing as public hearing. She messed up.

Rather than admit her mistake, on Thursday, Judge Aileen Cannon issued a minute order for a revised scheduling of the protective order hearing, arrogantly pretending that was her intent all along when it’s obvious she screwed up and had to learn what CIPA is and what it requires.

Fortunately, Judge Cannon’s errors have a silver lining. As of now, all of the other criminal cases (and big civil cases) against Donald Trump are likely to take place before criminal trial with Cannon. Also, the mistakes Cannon keeps making on her docket are likely to be fodder for an eventual appeal and recusal motion filed by Jack Smith before the Eleventh Circuit.
