Knowing what we now know..:I would disagree but could somewhat understand if they said N95 etc etc but they just said masks, Which implies anything…. which we now know definitively that cloth and face/neck gaiters do nothing.
Setting aside the fact that there is no Covid, the vaccinated +14 days were typically not tested, whereas the vaccinated -14 days were. Further, the vaccinated -14 days were tested at higher thresholds whereas the vaccinated +14 days were tested at lower thresholds. There’s your 80% along with the perception of efficacy.
You don't have to get arrested for not wearing a mask after you've been given every opportunity to comply or leave the premises, they made their choices if they actually were arrested. You basically have to want that for it to happen!
There was a time in which it was thought silly for some people thinking they didn’t have to around to the back of the restaurant to be fed.
I never really wore them unless I was asked to. I never believed they were effective and still don't. But I could also careless if others want to wear them, just don't force your beliefs on others
Real world example: several months ago my wife and I developed a hacking cough at roughly the same time. I subsequently discovered we had a filthy air filter and changed it out. Our coughs resolved almost immediately. But the question remains: did I catch filthy air filter from my wife or did she catch it from me ?
No. Continuing to push BS on people is unacceptable. You are too smart to not understand masks are pure virtue signaling. You need to get a life and call this nonsense out.
It is 100% worth fighting about. It is anti science and anti medicine. It is actually harmful. Especially to kids and their development.
They were always virtue. Oh…and keeping a distance (6 feet) was nothing but made up fodder as well. Though I like the result of more space these days.
Buddy of mine got a trespassing from the ale house for not wearing one. He walked in, they told him to mask up. He pointed out that everyone at the bar sitting next to each other wasn’t masked, as well as table sitters. They said they were eating and drinking. Lol. It was really insane for a few months.
Took me 2 seconds to find that you are wrong, with the only caveat that Rutgers still requires students to be vaccinated. Georgetown requires nothing. Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resource Center - Georgetown University Home - Universitywide COVID-19 Information
Don’t fall for the BS. The vast majority in the hospital and who are dying are older. The majority of them are vaccinated.
