The platform should have every right to choose which artists/albums to share or not. I think it's dumb in this case, but accept their right to choose. I disagree with them on altering the album content, as I disagree with them (and you) about the decision to sensor this particular song. It's a fool's errand and one which will not prevent minors from accessing content of an adult nature. Assuming this is the iconic GH album, they should either not alter it or not share it. "Fat Bottomed Girls" is part of what makes it a collection of greatest hits.

So why even have a childrens platform if you dont edit content? The goal for the artist(I assume) is to generate a new generation of fans. Which this still does, while taking into account the maturity of the subject matter. Seems its a win/win.

One of the great rock bands of all time gets discovered by a whole new generation.

Your explanation changed my mind on this, Tilly... to me this is just like sexualizing children in school. The lyrics in that song are not for kids to consume.

Well, in today’s world I guess it takes a lot of fat bottomed girls to make the rockin’ world go round.

It's not "literally the worst way of parenting."

Why even share the music if it has to be altered or only partially represented? My parents took me to see the movie Caddyshack when I was 10. Sister was at a sleepover and they couldn't get a babysitter. Somehow the drugs, alcohol, and nudity in the movie didn't ruin me. (then again, maybe it did )
I doubt children are going to discover Queen from whatever this platform is. They will be oriented to old school music by their family or friends.

Refusing to parent because I made mistakes is (short of abuse) the worst parenting strategy/philosophy out there. Show me a worse one.

There is only one reason Queen is on a kids list. It is to introduce a new generation to a great band. Smart business move.

But a song about a woman making a man out of a child should probably not be on the list.

Also wrong. You're looking at this too simplistically.

How is that wrong? It's 100% why. And its a smart, good, and understandable thing.

So I pulled up yoto. Wheels on the bus, Daniel tiger, Elmer , chitty chitty bang bang, row row your boat, doggo and popper. And………queen? Umm WTF? Anyone else see any other rock or Pop ? shouldn’t swifty be in there before queen ? Seems a really strange addition

Edit: appears they partnered with universal music and will have Bob Marley and others. I love bob marley but some of music and lyrics are fairly militant. Just odd choices for ‘kids’
