They have the rest of the cupcake season to get ready for Walton again. They looked good on Saturday.

I know exactly what you mean, and I agree with what you posted above.

One thing about Mullen and his play-calling prowess... He's the same coach that needed 1 yard against Ole Miss when the whole world knew that Tebow would carry the ball... so did Ole Miss. That was a bone head play when we had a dozens of plays that would have gotten that one yard. Not even Tebow can run though 11 men.

I was hoping for a short pass play or an end around... pitch out or a number of other plays. Mullen called many other bone headed plays like that during his two times in Gainesville, but we forget just how good the players were that made something out of those other questionable plays.

But yes, he was better than the average coach in play-calling. Though... I still think he was a top ten play-caller that tended to get very predictable.

I guess if home field is worth 3 points it's pretty dang close to even.

    keep Seider over Knox
Keep Brad Davis (LSU) over Hev
Anyone with a pulse over Grantham

he’s still the HC if he does that.

I remember when we all on here first felt cracks in the foundation after the 2019 season and for US, a bunch of message board fans, to be able to already sense it, then you KNOW it was rapid internally within the team.

I got disappointed when he let Seider go. But to replace him with Knox was a complete travesty.

He would rather crap his whole coaching career down the drain instead of getting rid of 3 crappy coaches.

That is pure dedication... to your own demise. What a putz...

It's ironic that right now SEC Network is playing the 2020 Florida- Georgia game and Trask is killing UGA...

Indeed, the recruiting "heat" begin to crank up.

Not sure of the timeline but I still remember David Waters recruiting question and Mullen's disasterous response.

crazy man. I will cherish how he temporarily removed the 2017 stain off of us by winning immediately his first 3 seasons here, but man I thought he would have learned a lot from his time under Meyer about how vital HS recruiting his and prioritize that but.....here we are!!! That article is THEE reason i'm willing to give Napier and co 4 full seasons, good or/and bad (unless he completely bottoms out obviously) in order to right the ship. He's done all that you can ask for except win big on the field but the foundation overall is there

I think he was already burned out on college football (recruiting) when he came to Gainesville, and planned on just jumping to the NFL after one or maybe two years here... that all went out the window.

When's the last time you were really proud of our head coach? Meyer for me but even he did some questionable things and I'm just talking about the observable at the time.

So far I'm proud of our current coach and as long as he keeps up to his own standards and also wins more than he loses he can stay as long as he wants.

Beating Bama is a beautiful thing but I don't need it to feel good about myself or my alma mater.

During the broadcast they mention that we had the fewest offensive possessions in college football. Imagine what could have been with just a mediocre defense that could get off the field....

    What a squandered season.

That offense was ridiculously good. You're right... with a normal defense we win the Natty that year and Trask wins the Heisman.

IMO Kyle had the greatest passing season of any QB in Florida History, the 8-4 year, and I am a member of the Danny / Tim / SOS fan club.

I define "great" in this post in terms of passing statistics not W's-L's.

Imagine Trask / UF with one of the defenses Danny or Tim had.

That is interesting considering how highly ranked others are at their positions: Evan McPherson (top 5), Kyle Pitts (top 10 - wow TE is thin in NFL right now), Tommy Townsend (top 3), Chauncey Gardner-Johnson (top 15), Keanu Neal (former Pro bowler but probably no longer in this group). I agree Pierce should be in that group but we might need another year to see how he develops from year 1.

Also, try replacing the x with twitter and it should embed. I don't understand it but Musk does and he is very smart.

49er fans, what do you know?! When they had fights with Raider fans in the stands, I mistakenly thought the Raider fans must be the issue.
