This just in: Pensacola, Florida has had a Nazi-like attack on a Jewish Center, with four illiterate teens throwing bricks through windows. We may need to call in the Russian army to invade Pensacola and clear out all of the Nazis with artillery, tanks, and cluster munitions. Missile attacks on suspected Nazi neighborhoods are also expected to be effective. They will provide additional services such as excess appliance removal for no additional charge.

'We absolutely have no place for that': Pensacola rallies together after hateful vandalism

Intelligence experts at the Kremlin have determined that "concerned" is a code word for Nazi, and "positivity" is a code word for Nazi support and weapons.

All Americans are requested to support the Russian invasion and provide names and addresses of suspected Nazi collaborators.

One of the top tour sites in Moscow has experienced a tragedy. Several tourists and tour operators were killed on an underground tour of one of Moscow's most popular tourist sites when unexpected flooding hit suddenly. It is rumored that Russians liked to visit this site to wash away the sins of their invasion of Ukraine and feel better about themselves.

At least four dead after Moscow sewer tour hit by heavy rain

Putin is socializing assets of oligarchs that Putin gave them at firesale prices.

Russia's so desperate to get its billionaires and their massive wealth back that it just threatened to seize the assets of an oligarch worth $13 billion (msn.com)
Russia appears to be going ham on its billionaires lying low overseas as Moscow grapples with supporting its economy amid the war in Ukraine.

Authorities have filed a lawsuit against Andrey Melnichenko, an oligarch now based in the United Arab Emirates, the Financial Times reported on Sunday.

The lawsuit — filed earlier this month in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk — alleges Melnichenko's purchase of power plant operator Sibeco five years ago was corrupt, the FT reported.

In 2018, he bought the company for 36 billion rubles, or $571 million, from a former government minister who was later arrested in 2019 for embezzlement and fraud at another unnamed company.

While I disagree with many of his policies and decisions, I do believe he tried to lead based on principle. About as well as a politician can, at least. I’m not a complete pacifist by any stretch, but in a lot of ways, this thing in Ukraine is every bit as sinister as Vietnam was. We’re swiping the ole credit card so some poor saps will take the bullets for us and we can save face at home by saying “at least it’s not our kids over there dying.” Not much different than Nam where we sent all the poor kids and minorities to do the same.

The ONLY comparison to Vietnam would be RUSSIA invading Ukraine based on the false predicate that Ukraine threatens Russian security.

For those that continue to sit with Matt Goetz and MJT, and Dugger, we are not sending American soldiers into Ukraine. We, along with the vast majority of the World, support Ukraine and their territorial integrity, and their right to protect their homes and families from an army that has murdered Ukrainians.

Of course it is VERY DIFFERENT from Vietnam. Vietnam was a peaceful, somewhat corrupt country with a very small GDP, and little or no influence in the grand scheme of things. It was not threatening any of its neighbors. No one was invading it until we stuck our nose in and invaded it. There was an internal conflict between a corrupt Catholic ruling party that persecuted Buddhists, and the 85% of the population that were Buddhists. The only reason that we got involved was that LBJ was determined not to allow another country go to the communists.

Ukraine was minding its own business in life when Russia decided to invade to take ownership of the country, following up on its 2014 invasion of Crimea. Ukrainians are not "taking a bullet for us"; they are literally fighting for their freedom. When you become a more educated American, you will recognize the meaning of that phrase. The U.S. is not saving face here--this is not our war to fight. We don't have a treaty that obligates us to send in troops. We have a moral obligation to support countries that are fighting occupation/oppression and fighting for their freedom, and we are doing that by providing weapons to Ukraine. We've done this before, and it worked beautifully (see: Afghanistan). Russia is a negative influence in the world, selling weapons to anyone and everyone, making the world a more dangerous place, even when they are not invading some country. The world is a safer place when Russia is in economic collapse and its military is weakened. And we (the U.S.) are in a much better financial position when we don't have to spend hundreds of billions on defense every year to counter the Russian threat.

Ukraine is also a fairly modern country, with nuclear power plants, steel factories, and it's called the breadbasket of the world. Millions of people worldwide depend on Ukraine for food. They are not run by Nazis, and they are no threat to invade Russia.

there is more in common with neville chamberlain and maga branch of repubs as they want to appease putin; than comparing Ukraine war to Vietnam war.

After nearly a year and a half of resounding bravado, frequent posters finally beginning to realize that Ukraine is losing badly. Turning almost entirely to venting about how mean Russians are.

Watched this last night. Pretty interesting if you're into this sort of thing. CQC while clearing trenches. Plot twist towards the end when one of the Ukrainians get injured.

Ukraine strikes another of the russian bombers. guessed the russians moved thema nd Ukraine either knew in advance where they wre going or were able to set up an attack rather quickly. I just wonder if this is ukranian cells living in Russia or smuggled in or sympathetic Russians? either way, I love it. anything to slow down the missile attacks

Ukraine media say Kyiv saboteurs were behind drone attacks on air bases deep inside Russia | AP News

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian saboteurs coordinated by Kyiv’s military intelligence services carried out a pair of recent drone attacks that hit parked bomber aircraft at air bases deep inside Russia, Ukraine media claimed Tuesday.

The attacks on Russian airfields on Saturday and Monday destroyed two Russian bombers and damaged two other aircraft, according to Ukrainska Pravda, as the war approaches its 18-month milestone.

That newspaper and Ukraine’s NV news outlet said groups of saboteurs were behind the audacious strikes, which suggest that Ukraine’s scope of action is broadening. It was not possible to verify the claims on the ground.
