I understand that players should be treated well and that might be the case for him, but when you disrespect a legend in Gator football and in Gator coaching? That's the one incident made me dislike that former coach.
Once he figured out, he couldn’t carry Spurriers jockstrap at UF, it probably ruffle his feathers a bit. You have to earn that respect.
I'll bet real money that Napier is talking to SOS as he is with Meyer too. SOS is free winning football knowledge.
No knowledge but I can't imagine him dismissing or rebuking any presence spurrier may have. By that same token, spurrier isn't the kind of person to overstep his reach and cause dissension in the program either.
Why does there have to be an agreement, seriously?? The NC2A is a complete and utter joke! smh Jim Harbaugh now expected to coach entire 2023 season as NCAA investigation into Michigan continues
I like how they shaved off sitting for that 4th game, against Rutgers. So it will now be against East Carolina, UNLV & Bowling Green. Michigan's Jim Harbaugh to serve self-imposed suspension as NCAA case seeks resolution, per reports
You know he is (I would be stunned if he didnt). I base (he is) because recruits COMMIT at Spurriers returaunt!
Muschamp may have been an understandable hire but the next two were just dumb hires in hindsight. At least Napier has been successful as a head coach albeit at a lower level. Tge same principles still apply.
Any coach in the world that doesn’t take advantage of those conversations would be a fool. Any colleagues in any kind of work have something to offer and we all can learn from some surprising scenarios. Spurrier is a no brainer and it’s not just the X’s and O’s. That’s not at all where Mullen’s problems stemmed from, he could’ve used a different kind of advice.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, this one was well beyond that. An image I will never forget, ever!
He has been very gracious to the UF coaches that followed him. But it must be tough for him, with his copious knowledge, sitting in the stands trying to be a fan while watching all the obvious coaching gaffes made over the last decade or so.
Brutal penalties for the khaki staff.. Michigan offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore suspended for season opener as part of self-imposed penalties
