The suspected killer, who has not been publicly identified, fled the crime scene on foot, but was found by sheriff's deputies near Carleton's store, where he was fatally shot in a confrontation, authorities said. The sheriff's office said the assailant was armed with a handgun and refused orders to drop the weapon.

"When deputies attempted to contact the suspect, a lethal force encounter occurred and the suspect was pronounced deceased," according to a statement from the sheriff's office.

Trump is a POS, and I guess you can say he contributed to animating the overall (pre-existing) hostility of the right - but on an issue like this there are actually other parties on the right more to blame. I would not necessarily blame Trump here.

Trump actually pandered to the gays somewhat, he wasn’t stirring up culture war anger in their direction. Trumps schtick was anti-Mexican and anti immigrant from so-called shithole countries (I.e brown people or any minority with an accent). I think other right wing politicians are responsible for leveling up the so called “war on woke”. The sorts that are harassing teachers and ladies like this one who was tragically killed. They need something to rile up the base after Roe, and as these freakshows have no conscience or moral guide, this is what you get.

I don’t care what happens at “pride events”. Doesn’t impact me in any way. It’s called freedom. The shooter was apparently triggered by a flag (and ironically murdered a mother of 9). The shooter obviously loathed the idea of freedom if a rainbow flag on a clothing store triggered him to murder the shop owner.

Sounds like these pride events might actually trigger you, so you have something in common with the as yet unnamed perp described in the OP.
