But if his goal is to play beyond college he is probably better off healing, rehabbing and working out for a roster spot in the league next spring. I don’t know if a 7th year in college is the best option for a guy at this particular position.

    Wut?!?!

Sometimes when I come on this board I feel have gone through the looking glass and am in wonderland.

A two star recruit, who was at Tulane for five average seasons, didn't play after Tulane's season opener in 2022 due to a serious injury, and will not play for us in 2023 due to a serious injury, should be thinking about his NFL career?

I hate it for him, but... there is this small thing called reality.

Reality is, that a RB has a very tight window to cash in on anything beyond college. IFFF …he wants a career beyond that, doing it at 25 yrs of age may not be in his best interest. That’s all I was saying.

Correct. To me, the one I question the most is Emory Jones. It was plainly obvious that he has a VERY hard ceiling, and it tops out at a decent major college defense. But he does have some athletic skills. Instead of crafting another kind of player, he has chosen to be The Man at the middling level...twice.

Maybe he has watched Al Bundy on Married with Children too many times. Just saying.

I agree. Also, If he has hopes of playing professionally at all, Florida would be a nice stage to show the scouts his skills. Coming back and showing he can play a full season is better than showing the scouts a list of injuries.
