I listened to the full hour. Trump overtly pressured the SOS to simply make up a reason to allow him to win. Trump knew everything he was pointing out was bullshit. The SOS said so. Trumps data person on the line kept saying she didn’t have the data to prove trump was wrong (she kept trying to say she didn’t have data to prove he was right either but he kept shutting her up). All he wanted and all he asked for was for the SOS to trust Trump’s gut feeling things were amiss and throw out some votes. All he needed was a specific number. He didn’t say get it right. He said he won by half a million so it would be easy to get 11k, knowing he didn’t win by half a million. He was in a conspiracy to defraud.

 

No one with an IQ above room temperature could feel any different about this.

And even those who refused to testify for that report that have since testified pursuant to grand jury subpoena, like Pence, have only buttressed the facts within it. Even Trump’s own staff said the “peaceful transfer ship has sailed.” If your cognitive dissonance is also strong that you think that was a peaceful transfer of power, rather than a failed autogolpe, then there’s no helping you.

 

I think after 195 posts, we have a pretty good view of the Trumpeteer logic— no matter what the hard evidence provides (the written correspondence and memoranda), no matter the source of the evidence (Republicans and members of the Trump team), the evidence does not count because it is part and parcel of a witch hunt designed SINCE 2020 to hurt Trump’s election campaign (that would not be announced for another 2 years).

Virtually the entire Trumpeteer defensive arguments in this post rest on name-calling attacks, factually devoid denials, invented theories found in “deep-state” sub stack message boards, and in their darkest moments fantasies of open rebellion.

Trumpeters care nothing about fact, care nothing about Justice, care nothing about this Country.
