Biden did seem a bit lost there, perhaps he didn’t hear the questions and went to the canned response. In fairness if that had been GWB or Trump’s statement given the same situation the left would be all over it saying they didn’t care because most of the dead were brown people.
I mean, if Biden actually mingled with the public and held real press conferences, I could let it go. Biden's in visibly superior physical shape than Trump, but you wait. Next year you'll see Trump, 78 years old and very obese, with 200 felony indictments on his back, shaking hands, kissing babies, mingling with thousands of regular people in many dozen cities and stops. Meanwhile, mom's basement just got the presidential upgrade and Biden won't be seen or heard from for weeks at a time. When he does make the rare appearance, rest assured he will fondle some unsuspecting woman or girl and it'll get posted here. The guy personifies out of touch.

Once again just my opinion but I think demonstrating a lack of empathy by ridiculing disaster victims through a not very funny stunt is far more serious than an inability to respond to a question on the fly. Waiting for the ratings and/or responses of "Off-topic" and "TDS is real" or "Trump is living rent free in your mind".
How refreshing Biden's been since he took over from the buffoon who preceded him. Of course he's not perfect and deserves some criticism, but the only thing which now needs criticism is this pathetic thread. (I'm used to that from the OP. He makes no attempt to be fair and balanced.) All in all, Biden has been an outstanding president. Unlike the previous buffoon, Biden loves the country more than himself.

I agree with most of your takes, but Biden adequate? I have too many Dem friends who won't even say that. I say this with no malice, but even they see he's within a year or two of not remembering who his VP and Sec of State are. My guess is the strategy is to run him again in 2024, because they think he can beat Trump and then he resigns soon after, handing the reins to Kamala. There is no way he's going to make it until January 2029 as POTUS. He might still be alive, but mentally, he'll be completely absent by then.
