Our defense in the second half completely stymied him. GREAT adjustments to contain him. I was at the game and the A&M fans were excited to see how they compared with the SEC. Many explained that their "salty" team would overwhelm us.

 

Watched it last night.

Mental health is no joke, but that is one disturbed individual.

Great talent, don’t think he was ever willing to put in the work required of a pro QB.

Hope he can lead a productive life.

What a GOAT.

Man was hungover at 5'10 and eating up defenses.

Oof imagine if he was sober and focused.

 

It's an interesting and sobering documentary. What could have been. The dude is going to need some very strong support or he is just going to burn himself out. Huge waste of talent.

 

To me, it seemed a bit “it was someone else’s fault that lead to my decline” to me.

 

Agree, he didn't seem too remorseful during the whole thing. Looked like he thought it was funny.

 

Only salty thing were their tears afterwards.

 

Was at this game as well. The result was most satisfying.

 

I was too, and frankly, was terrified. This was his first conference game and he was moving around like a RS Junior. Never saw such poise by a freshman, and against our best team since the Meyer Era. He played HS ball in Kerrville, just west of San Antonio, and was a very well-known player throughout the area. We all thought he was just a spoiled rich kid, but it appears he had some serious mental issues.

 

I enjoyed it. The mockery of the NCAA was great.

The fact that the coaches knew his behavior and looked the other way for wins just cements what we already knew. A lot goes on behind the scenes that we never hear about.

 

Right you are! Kept waiting on him to “blink”….so to speak. Glad we prevailed though.
