Yeah because crazies never made threats against political leaders before Trump.
    I mean are you serious?

Was this man innocent? Let's be honest, making death threats against the POTUS, esp. those legitimized according to circumstances, is serious. This guy's behaviors epitomized "stupid games." I come back to the Q of whether he brandished/aimed a gun, though. Very few of the people whose deaths by police were ridiculed brandished guns, let alone aimed them after making threats online.

I didn’t realize the police could shoot people that appear guilty.
    My point still stands.

Certainly more details will come out with time, I haven’t seen anywhere that he opened fire, etc.

And you know exactly what I’m talking about where some posters literally suggest there is an epidemic of cops killing civilians..

Read the posts from the start River, many of our resident left leaning posters seem glad about it. Very telling.

Well he was already guilty of threatening the prez, a serious crime. That in and of itself doesn't legitimize the shooting and I haven't suggested as much. It's why I come back to the question of him brandishing a gun. Not only did he threaten the prez, he directly threatened the FBI. If you didn't see it, he made a post after their visit back in March saying something about the next time they come . . . "bang." Given the circumstances, FBI were obviously dialed in. If he answered the door with a gun in hand . . . what else would you expect?

Well if he did answer the door with a gun in hand then it would be expected he would get shot.
As I said up thread, more info will come out and we will see if that happened.

He could have had his day in court. He made another choice unfortunately.
