    No but in a close election WV's 5 electoral votes could be very important if Manchin won the state and no one got to 270. Then the house decides on a per state basis.

    Assuming he ran and actually won a couple of states, and no one won a majority of the electoral votes. It would then go to the House to vote by State to determine the next President. Manchin would have no shot.

    If I could have my pick of the three, it would most definitely be Manchin. But Trump winning would be like the end of Animal House.
